Im guessing its like a social service type of foundation. Its suppose to aid relief and assistance to the poor. Possibly the reason why have so much money is because of extensive donations from their sponsors. They also probably gained trust from the public as they possibly aid relief to an epidemic they keep mentioning. They also seem to have a lot of power over the politicians which is interesting.

bought a viki pass because i was so impressed by the show. So excited for the upcoming episodes

Dropped after ep.7 as I kinda just lost interest. The beginning was great but then later in the future episodes, I got bored. Idk if its my low attention span to dramas lately . wish i stuck to dramas more often these days.

I think the female lead is super cute and pretty. She plays her role true to the character. Her character wasnt born with money and is more free sprited because shes a street performer, so ofcourse shes not going to be all posh and all. Also, Her visuals also have some similarities with gyuri from fromis_9.

I get bored a lot and i dont finish any dramas lately but this drama is an exception!!! REALLY REALLY GOOD. DEFINITELY SHOULD WATCH. Its also the knly 2021 (?) drama that ive finish this year

seriously gorgeous movie. every shot was very very pretty. The costumes, the set , the lighting was stunning.
The writing could have been better but overall the story was interesting enough. As this a movie and not a tv show, the characters dont have enough time really develop. Saw a lot of familiar faces within the cast. Really recommend. 8/10

why not US?

even tho its clique and kinda shallow, I couldnt stop watching. The leads really dont have the healthiest relationship. they were both annoying and didnt communicate hahah. The setup was fun but after a couple of eps. It got annoying and confusing. Despite that, it is still weirdly fun to watch. Anyways its just a low budget simple teen drama. nothing big to expect.

Seon Gyeom struggling to write down his thoughts in his diary shows some insight about his situation. He was writing a diary for others as it was like an assignment. For most of his life, he has been living for the people around him (eg. his parents telling him to do sports and always following their demands). So when Mi Joo told him that diaries were written for yourself. This reflected in Seongyeom's situation at moment as he struggles to write down his thoughts and feelings in the diary. Diaries are usually meant for you to open up to yourself and reflect on your day and your feelings. He has been so used to living for the demands for others. Thus it has been difficult for him to find a path for himself and faces difficulty in opening up to others because he also can't open up to himself. But just like how he is learning to write diaries, his character will grow too

From out of all the dramas airing right now. I look forward to this the most every week. Its really my taste.

its a character driven drama. Its simple but realistic. The dialogue is fresh and well written. The characters are relatable. Its a slice of life type of drama. If you like those type of drama. I really recommend this one.

also to add for other reasons, true beauty is a really popular webtoon, internationally and in korea. So the buzz will be there.

honestly this drama is quite charming. from all the airing dramas im watching right now. this is great

i mean not all dubbing is bad tho. Some are more obvious than others.
When its dubbed - it sound like its in a recorded in a studio. It can sound too crisp and perfect. When its recorded live, it sounds more authentic. The imperfections make it more professional in my opinion. Of course in post production, they'll probably do some alterations.

If you want a comparison watch Love 020(dubbed) and this drama and see the difference between the two.
Also note im not a pro at any of these things. I just watch a lot of dramas haha

came here for the comments. yall are too funny. Ive only watched 2 episodes. the first ep. was good. the second episode, I just wasnt feeling it. Seeing from all the comments, i dont think it'll get any better lmao. Also why does the second lead feel like the lead here. It kinda sucks because I like his presence the most.
