watched this at my town's film festival. So happy I did. A slowpaced, calming, endearing coming of age film. I really adore the relationship with ito and her father
I dont enjoy a lot thrillers but idk why i enjoyed this! Not a boring moment From beginning to end.
I went without expectations and the twists got my gears in my head turning. The directing was genius. The change in tone in the 2nd half furthered intrigued me. Cinematography was gorgeous. Whatever the director and writers were plotting in the 2nd half , i very much understood it.
I have two episodes left. I'm not exactly hooked or emotionally connected with any of the characters. But some episodes are better than others and its a unique plot in cdrama that I don't often see. Also the comedy is pretty enjoyable so I'm interested to see how this ends.
If a drama was purely written on a trope, this would be the one. The cohabitation trope and very surface level. Acting and script is so stiff but kinda bearable because I get the type of genre of drama this is. Super tropeyy but with a lot of skinship. This is def something to watch if u want to turn off ur brain a bit hahah
this was surprisingly good. A relatively simple story but I think the leads have amazing chemistry. I specifically appreciated the sound design in this movie. Literally so beautiful and super cinematic. It helped reveal a lot of the emotions behind the story.
But I do agree with the others. The story could have benefited from extra screentime or something. I wanted more emotions and angst. It felt too condensed from the time-span of the story. But overall I still enjoyed the movie and they did a good job with the allocated time they were given.
