Agree. I'm kind of totally over the ML by now. All those years he never saw how great she was just because he was too busy being the white knight to SFL. Not even seeing that she got pushed down while he carries off the bride would be the final nail for me. He's all smiles and cuteness but this is not a man that is going to put her first.

Yeah, you're right. I understand from a story POV. I think maybe they should have dialed it back though because it totally took me out of the story.

I think for me it would sit differently if he had just hit the boy a couple of times like he did with Tesla. But he really beat this boy badly. I rewatched and the boy wasn't fighting back. He was unconscious (eyes closed) with blood at the mouth and Thyme (wearing boots) kept kicking and punching his prone body- hard. He very easily could have killed him. Any normal human being would have been more worried about getting an ambulance instead of friend cliques.

I forgot that was the boy that tried to assault her. That does change things. Still, I didn't expect her to go check on him, but I do think she could have brought up that Thyme just nearly killed someone instead of who is in or out of a friend clique.

Mixed on this episode. Interactions between f4 boys were great. But the way they didn't stop Thyme from severely beating the other student?? Thyme might be strong but the other 2 could have held him off. The way he was kicking that boy he could have killed him. And I wanted to scream at Gorya when she is more worried about Ren being kicked out of F4 then the kid who was just severely assaulted? Ren was the only decent human being here who went to see if the victim was ok.

I started major skipping ahead until the end. It doesn't get better.

If you turn off the sound and the subs and just watch Luo Zhen walk around in all his hotness and nice suits the entire time this might be worth watching. Otherwise, it's so cringe you'll feel like you need a brain bath afterward. The main character is awful. Pouty, guilt-tripping manipulative stalker. No sane person would want to date him. Except maybe the FL who acts like a 13 year old. Ugh. It's also has a very very similar plot to Make My Heart Smile - except the main characters in MMHS are actually likable. Why did Zhen agree to do this?? Someone, please save him from such bad drama choices.
