I have a little problem with Tae's acting. The way he plays cocky Ice is really nice, like in the scene, it's in EP1 or 2, where he smirks while he walks past the bullies. However, I don't really like the scenes where he has to be emotional, like when Ice argues with Saint. This whole scene looks just awkard, they argue in the same way they talk and it really irks me. Maybe those scenes could be a little bit more dynamic so the actor can express his anger or sadness through other means than only with his voice and facial expression.

tbh if u r really afraid of horror elements then the feeling of uneasiness will be with you throughout the whole series by which I mean scary-looking ghosts, white pupils, possessed characters;
HOWEVER as umasou said it's actually a little bit softer after EP 1 with less jumpscares, so you can prepare mentally - it's definitely worth trying to overcome your horrorphobia along with Khemjira :D

I dropped My Stubborn, Knock Out, 4 minutes, Top Form and a few other popular series, mainly for the same reasons. Boring, cliché, each subsequent episode became repetitive, like I have seen it plenty of times already. I am kind of picky myself when it comes to shows I watch. The Bangkok Boy has its flaws, for example in the 1st episode this horrible dubbing, which they dropped later on. However, it has an actual plot, and general idea for itself. Side characters don't dissappear magically once the cp meets, it's not love at the first sight, everyone has their own motivations and goals they are essential for the story to progress, they don't play the role of this annoying group of friends. Although they lead nowhere near as ordinary life as the characters in ITSAY, but after reading synopsis you know you can expect action, violence, traumas, gangs, crime etc. Main CP is not the main focus, similarly to To Sir. with Love, however they are essential and their relationship is built not on cute dates, such as eating street food or playing arcade games like in A LOT OF other shows but on emotional connection, experiences from their personal life that tie them together. They give me a lot of emotions and a lot of thought provoking analyses. At the end of the day I would recommend giving it a try, to at least 2nd episode to see for yourself, because we all have different preferences ☺️

I prefer original stories to adaptations, especially of Japanese bls. Japanese people have a very specific manner of speaking and gesturing, trying to translate this into Thai productions in my opinion doesn't work. I don't want to prejudge before I watch, however, after the trailer I have a few conclusions about it that concern me.

Pond and Phuwin are examples of people whose series I don't like but I like them outside of these series. But that's a topic for a separate discussion haha

True, there is demand then there is supply. As long as it brings in money, it will be produced. And I have nothing against that! I love msp, however, not everyone produces series as good as Aof does.

I get your point of view, and agree that this is business, money matters most of course. But when you look at Moonlight Chicken, there's no high school, yet they stole the show with their acting, and the series was sucessfull, maybe not as msp but still.
It's all about preferences of the viewers, if someone enjoys it - that's great, after all that's what's most important :D

yeah, thats totally true. But this tv shows are products and they produce what sells the best at the moment sadly :<

damn, the plot seems so... repetetive and childish. Those two are talented, they are good actors, they deserve more challenging and deeper roles, so I'm worried about this series.
Well, after all it may be just my personal preference.
