I don't know if I liked the movie. The cinematography was absolutely gorgeous and the OST was amazing (not just…
Just seeing this old post now. Yes, the cinematography was amazing. There was a montage sequence in the middle of the film that was very impressive. The soundtrack from Yusuke Tsutsumi was so good that I bought it from Bandcamp and I still listen to it on occasion. I forgot that the OST doesn't include the ending song by Kiyohara Kaya.
Was anyone in NA able to watch this successfully on Amazon Prime with subs? Even when I change the language of…
Weird timing! I just started it today. Ep2 is terrific! I've been watching ripped videos. But I just checked Amazon Prime and it is working okay for me (Japanese audio/English subs).
Does anyone know if there are any Japanese or English subtitles for this?
I never found either. There are Chinese subs that I ripped from the AvistaZ raw, but I'm not sure how helpful those might be. Thanks for looking into the possibility of translating this film. I'm generally not a big fan of war movies but the presence of Mitsushima Hikari and the storyline piqued my interest.
Thanks so much! I'm about 50 minutes into the film and your subs are wonderful (and the film is terrific). I'm…
I finished the movie. It was terrific, as were your subtitles. I've never seen an uplifting "break-up" movie. I loved Sakamoto's screenplay.
I have a subscene account. I often place subs that I've retimed to specific raws there (properly credited, of course!). I'd be pleased to share your subtitles there if that's okay with you. How should I credit them (like "from Emi on MDL" or something similar?). I did make the change that you referenced (the line that should have had "30-minute walk").
Hi guys, I made a softsub for this movie to share on a private tracker, however kissasian and dramacool and probably…
Thanks so much! I'm about 50 minutes into the film and your subs are wonderful (and the film is terrific). I'm sorry that the subs have been stolen already by the streaming sites, who love to strip credits off and make believe that they've done the subtitling. It's all very sad. Subscene is a place that's freely accessible where subs are frequently shared.
This was an enjoyable drama. My only difficulty is that the old man being interviewed at the airport would have to be about 100 years old to be consistent with the plot, since it was stated that it was Reiwa 2. He didn't look a day over 79!
This drama has now been completely subbed. Check D-addicts forum for subs.I initially rated it as a 9, but after…
Thanks for the subtitles at d-addicts. This was a excellent drama. I agree that it was wonderfully written and Shishido Kavka demonstrated very well that she can handle a leading role.
