I'm not sure why even though after watching a few episodes i'm not really getting absorbed into the story. Not sure if it's because it's too rush and there's not enough build up, or the way the show was filmed or Earth being not cute enough for some of Wayo's actions or Ben lacking an aura that God has as Pha.
The title of the movie as suggested by a few people here points to "both morning and night, the realm between dreams and reality, or good and evil.", which would mean it's kind of a grey area.
Some people refer to David Lynch's movie styles as well. So if you prefer to refer to that, you can probably find on youtube some explanation about his movies and ideas behind them, such as Mulholland Drive.
I'm not sure if I'm getting it correctly. For me, it's kind of straightforward.
Tam meets Phum, Tam follows Phum around, Tam had a fevered dream (i suppose with all the weird stuff going on), and Phum helped Tam hire some people to kill Tam's family, then they relax in the water.
Personally, i felt that the movie deals with Tam's & his family's circumstances and the appearance of Phum that enables Tam to be able to leave the cruel reality that he has been facing.
FYI, there's not much BL in this series. Here's where most of it appears: -episode 12 part 5 hidden scene -episode 13 part 1 & 2 -episode 14 part 4 & 5 -episode 15 part 2 & 5 hidden scene
The series is kind of draggy, so i won't really recommend watching. I only made it through since i focused more on the office plot, which was better compared to the 2 main couple's relationship issues.
The description describes the main plot of the season, which the couples are dealing with 3rd parties in their relationship. I felt that it's not really necessary to watch this season. Most of the things are explained in the last episode or last 2 episodes, so watch those 2 episodes.

Episode 2 - Cable x Tul (Confused male lead plot) (small part in ep 5 & 9)
Episode 9 - Gang x Earng (Make believe internet couple plot)
-episode 12 part 5 hidden scene
