Not really understanding the low rating of this. some of you didn’t live through early BL and it shows lol. Yes, this entire thing looks like an end of year student project. But it’s well acted and inoffensive. It could be SO much worse.
I feel like some of you are watching a completely different drama to me. The friends and family are excellent and it is slow burn but they never fall out over something silly or enter into a fruitless romance with someone else, the things that usually drive me mad with other slow burns, instead it’s just a slow. friends to lovers with great found family elements. It’s wonderful.
Geez the sexism in some of these comments. FL’s story was layered and interesting and I’m glad this drama had the confidence to tell her story and not just write her off as a side character. For a story set ostensibly around the friendship of the three male leads I found the strength of the background female friendships really well written.
I was really excited for Itaewon class but it’s dubbed??? Does anyone else find this wildly annoying? I’d rather just have the subbed version and not have to listen to American voices that don’t fit the actors.
This is why nobody bothers with MDL ratings.
