All good actors want to improve, so telling him he can get better isn't saying he's bad - it's simply encouraging him to try even harder next time, and saying they'll support him as he grows. That's not being a hater.
I don't really understand how this got so many good reviews.. I love the acting and the overall storyline, but it's lazily done and clearly just a futile attempt at making a great drama following the standard drama mold. It's irritating at times, with some of the charachters being plain stupid, and the (SPOILER kinda) romance between Yoon Sanghyuns charachter and Nam Ji Hyuns charachter is so horribly forced and without any chemistry at all. Usually I feel really bad for the second male lead but in this drama I just wanted him to piss off. Even if you look past the fact that he's supposed to be around 45 and she's supposedly 21 in this drama there is just nothing that actually warrants his sudden change of behaviour and romantic feelings towards her. Overall the drama is just unrealistic and lazy, and not even in a funny way. It's just annoying. Besides, it could've been like 8 episodes shorter and you still would've missed NOTHING.
I'm such a romance lover that it's almost embarassing, and since I for some reason seem to have been handed the concentration skills of a bunny on drugs I can't read mangas, so I looooooove when they make movies out of them! It's a good drama, but for me I don't think that it's worth watching just for LSG. So if you don't like the overall feel of it, with all the drama and attempted murders and angst but also romance and some but not much humor, then no, I don't think it should be a priority of yours to watch this ^^ :)
