This was really good. I didn't like Hidden Love so I was a bit skeptical about this but decided to give it a try. I will say it is nothing like Hidden love. This was a bit more dark and dealt with mature concepts and was done very well. I've heard people say that the FL was heartless and selfish but I feel like after everything she had gone through especially considering her age it was an appropriate response. As an adult the second time she ran away I felt like it was the decision of a child and maybe she should of talked with the ML rather than run away and it is fine to criticize that but I do know that trauma makes you act irrational and you're not wrong with any response due to trauma. I do feel like she needed those two yeas to deal with her issues and grow as a person. Sometimes you need to take a step back from a relationship to discover yourself and let go of the past. Overall this i a very well written drama and I like it much better than Hidden love. I love how it handles her mother's relationship as well. Too many times in asian dramas I feel the child forgives the parent simply because they are their parents which I personally don't like. I feel like the ending with her mom is the correct way to handle the relationship after everything her mother put her through. I mean lady, your daughter just said that she was almost r*ped by her uncle and not any do you leave because you are busy but you let her continue living with her uncle. After that I would have cut contact with her and would never forgive her either. She is just a selfish women who wanted to reunite with her daughter because her stepchild and husband were abandoning her.

Wow... 16 hrs of my life that I am never getting back. Did they change the writer the last 5 episodes or something. If was pretty good until the last 5 episodes. Then it just crashed. They had to try to write the ending this bad. That is an accomplishment itself. I've never seen a show whose conclusion is everyone dies.

Honestly I would have preferred that as well. I loved him in go go squid.

I think there are just certain types of people I just don't like and it might not be anything wrong with them, I just don't like them. I think I also had the wrong expectations going into this. I thought it would be like From now on it's showtime or like his previous show in which he was a profiler. I think this show tried to incorporate humor while also being super serious and I didn't feel like they did it properly. Honestly I tried just skipping some of the FL parts to see if I liked the story but I still didn't like the overall show.

Yeah I got that at ep. 3. I still found her pretty annoying. I dropped around ep 5.
I did see people say she gets more likable as the show goes on but I'm just not sure I wanna watch until that happens.

Alright I dropped it. I really don't like the female lead in this drama. She's a police officer but she's stalking the ML and breaking into his house because she doesn't trust him. I get she's mad at him for ruining her case and suspicious but I feel like she's got this air of superiority and blatantly ignores the law when it suits her. Honestly, as a police officer, shouldn't she follow the law herself.

For the drama they kinda used it for comedy at parts. There definitely was some stereotyping done with how the gay man wore makeup and acted "feminine" but I don't think anything super bad was there. I will say there were certain parts I felt a bit uncomfortable with but as long as you're not too sensitive about it it's fine.

I have mixed feelings about this drama. On one hand I understand that the FL did try to cut off contact with the ex a couple of times and he just wouldn't take no for an answer. On the other hand I feel like she sometimes just gave into her ex so easily. Like seriously, he cheated on you and now that he's in trouble he's basically demanding for your help. I swear if that was my ex I would file a restraining order on him. I really hate the ex. He is just a self entitled bastard that will use women to further his goal. He cheated on his gf for a rich girl and when he got in trouble he went back. Also the mother of that ex is just as bad if not worse. The rich girl was just a spoiled brat but apart from taking the FL's bf and then claiming to be "pregnant" to marry the ex, I think throughout the drama I can't find as much fault in her. I hated her at the beginning but throughout the story she did try her best to help out the ex. While sometimes she could be rude, especially about the fact that it was her dad's money that they were living off of, she did have a point. Her dad paid for their wedding, gave them a house and car, and helped the ex with his business. Honestly his expectations on what her dad should do is unbelievable. Throughout the story he was never once grateful to his in-laws for all the help they provided. While bringing it up in every argument isn't the way to go, there were times that it needed to be acknowledged by him and he just didn't want to have that conversation.
Now onto the FL and ML. The FL was way to soft but her actions were somewhat understandable up until the last couple episodes. I don't understand why you would take care of his after the car accident. He has a mom and a wife, you shouldn't be at the hospital taking care of him. That honestly made no sense to me. Like the mother of her ex steals the child and she just forgave her just like that. That will never make sense to me. Honestly with the way that mother talked to her and even the rich girl, I would divorce him or ask for the mother to move out. I understand why she can't go to the police about this matter, but at that point I would definitely never see that ex or his mother again. And honestly speaking she told her ex about being pregnant but he didn't care, so even if she took this to court, apart from maybe some visitation rights, I don't imagine he would be getting any custody over the child. The ML was amazing in every way. Honestly the FL didn't deserve him.

The overall story was not bad but the ending made no sense. I think it was a sad ending but I don't understand what happened with the business. Like did the ML defeat the scheming FL or not. There was no clear ending. I was double checking to make sure I didn't miss any episodes. For a short drama that was 10 mins per episode it wasn't bad but I feel like if they just finished it at 20 that would have been better. They never resolved what happened in the last 4 episodes and I guess it's our choice how it ended but there was way too much stuff that was unresolved.

Okay let me just say that I don't really leave negative comments. I have watched some pretty bad dramas and movies and have gotten through them. I've watched over 250 asian dramas and movies and I can confidently say that this is probably one of the worst that I watched. The only one that was maybe worse was the Chinese drama Le Jun Kai. I think I got to the last 30 mins of this movie and just gave up because I genuinely couldn't take it anymore.

I really loved this show. It shows a real family and how a family is more than just blood. I think each character matured and grew as the story progressed. It looks at real problems in live and adjusting to those problems. I think the only character I absolutely hated was the ML's mom. She was just a manipulative bitch. You're telling me you blamed a 10 year old kid for his little sisters death bc you had to go out and left them both alone. And then when he's in high school all of a sudden you want to be a part of his life. And then you want him to leave the only people that took care of him and move to singapore to take care of you cause you were injured. If that was me I honestly would just tell my "mom" to take care of herself and leave. Even at the end I don't like her "redemption" at all. It just feels like more manipulation. Overall she's a self obsessed b*tch who only cares about herself.

I don't understand the fl character. She's supposed to be a top notch lawyer so why is she so naive and wishy-washy. I understand she's dealt with a lot of crap but you should learn from your mistakes. I feel like she repeated the same mistakes over and over. And also, have the leads never heard of communication. So many things could have been cleared up if they just talked to each other. Also the mother character is pissing me off. Honestly she is one of the worst mother characters in dramas that I've seen and that's saying a lot since I've seen so many of them. If anyone needs a drinking game have a shot every time the couple breaks up. At least the alcohol will numb the pain of this drama. I honestly only watched this for zhang han but even he couldn't save this train wreak of a drama.

The FL's father actually tried to save the mother first but that caused a secondary shock which caused the ML's mother and father to die. He managed to rescue the ML but no one knew what he did. The FL knew about this and was. waiting to the ML but the ML found out first.

Yeah. I think it's implied that they got back together. It basically fast forwards three years and shows everyone together.

There is a breakup in episode 35 and it lasts until the end of 40. I didn't like the conclusion to them since it was the last five minutes of the episode.

That was an utter sh*t show. Honestly didn't understand anything. There was no logic to anything and I felt that whoever scripted this show has never interacted with actual people. Honestly the FL's friends were either trash or unrealistic and the ending was so weird. I'm pretty nice with my reviews and I watch a drama just to relax. I don't even look for a realistic plot or anything but the I couldn't even follow any basic story line with this drama.

Ehhhh.... This was okay. I'm a fan of more fast paced dramas and this was a bit slow for me. If you're into slow burn here's a perfect drama for you. I'm not sure if I want to finish it but it wasn't terrible so we'll see.

Honestly speak the show had a lot that the movie skipped, which makes sense because of the time crunch, but the show is a lot better. They depict the sister a lot more psychotic and I feel like the characters aren't as 2d as they were in the movie. Honestly speaking, I watched the drama first and was disappointed by how the movie made some of the characters. The male lead also has more mental problems and was more accurate to the webtoons and something I liked better. Definitely watch the drama.
