Yeah, it’s really unhealthy and unfortunately, there is a lot of societal pressure to drink, especially after work.

Ep. 5 I absolutely hate this glorification of alcohol drinking. She is so sorry for him because he does not drink?!?!?…
It’s a cultural difference. Just Italians may have wine with every meal, many Koreans drink alcohol almost every day. You drink with your coworkers (something that can be taboo in my country, the US), you drink with friends and family, you drink to celebrate, you drink to commemorate the dead. Drinking (including binge drinking) in Korea is normal and plays a very important role in society. Afterall, South Korea is one of the largest consumers of alcohol globally.

It may seem weird to you if that’s not normal in your country, but food and drink are the foundation of a nation’s culture and every country has different traditions.

Such a great show so far! I am still so mad that the bully got to move on with her life to the point that she forgot that she bullied someone, and yet the person she bullied has suffered irreparable emotional and psychological trauma.

I started watching for Zu'er and am so pleasantly surprised by this drama. I have been unimpressed by Tao's acting in the past but he is fantastic in this and the chemistry between the leads is fire. Very original story, too.
