i have a theory... as much as i want yumi & babi to be endgame in the drama (bc there's no confirmed season 3 and they're giving soonrok's scenes in the webtoon to babi), i think that they are gonna make yumi single and focus on her writing career at the end of the series. kind of like an open ending? cause i saw that they casted shin yeeun as the girl that babi would eventually have a crush on (while still dating yumi) and that is not a good sign for a yumbab end game
unpopular opinion: i don't get the hype abt namra? except the fact that shes a half-zombie, theres really nothing special about her. also most of the time shes just standing there when everyone is fighting i mean shes stronger than all of them so why don't she use those abilities so the others wouldnt die?
personally i find the archery girl way more cooler
- this show couldve gone without the romance - it was out of place and cringey for me (esp the suhyeok & namra couple) - most of the characters' sacrificies were just put for the emotional factor: e.g: on-jo's dad (he could've just escaped with them), cheongsan's mom (the way she died was just very stupid imo) - they couldve utilized namra's abilities better - cheongsan deserves better - icb they actually went that long without drinking or eating anything ? like none of them thought that they should find some food or drinks? - they shouldve let gwi nam and the bullied girl fight each other or sth instead of gwi nam vs cheongsan
for those who choose to be ignorant, if you're going to continue consuming KOREAN media. it's called basic respect and human decency to understand KOREAN's feelings towards their country's drama, especially when it involves their history and politics. we are in no position to tell them what is right or wrong because we don't know as much as them!
