i didn't watch the og but i wish this version focused more on the family aspects rather than romance... i like them as a trio but i found myself skipping a lot of fl&ml romance scenes
thank you for this... to be honest i loved this drama in the beginning episodes but i did give it a bit of a side-eye when they revealed that the idol of her dream was studying at the school next to hers, is her next door neighbour, AND had a crush on her before she even knew who he was! what convenience!
i definitely agree with kim hye yoon's repetitive "sunjae ah" . i was getting flashbacks to extraordinary you where she would say the ml's character in the same voice, same tone she used for this drama too.
oh yeah and that scene when the fl's best friend and brother were arguing in the kitchen without smelling or seeing the smoke in the room is just so stupid. they were supposed to be the comedy relief but they are literally the most annoying characters ever and i seriously hate the best friend's brother trope
i think the final will be between a black spoon vs white spoon chef and the winner will be a black spoon chef (matfia), then the final shot is when they reveal his real name
To be honest, might be an unpopular opinion but this season so far has been underwhelming. The dates are short and don't have those heart-fluttering moments like in season 2.
1. HW getting upset, crying about HH. HH being clueless, not knowing what he did wrong. I think the issues between these two will be completely solved if they just talk it out - it's that simple. It's exhausting seeing HW being jealous and crying over a 5 months relationship and they've been broken up for a year. With the way she's crying, you'd think they've been dating for 5 years.
2. JW getting upset at SK for being touchy-feely with other participants. I don't see anything wrong with what SK is doing to the point of people calling her names and shaming her looks over it. The production team portrays JW as this lovesick ex and we hear his POV about everything but it's crickets from SK's side. Favoritism much? He's out there flirting with YJ but we don't see how SK reacts to this (her interviews).
