She's been givin' me fake vibes ever since she feigned ignorance when Gyeo Re confronted her in an earlier ep.…
I just wish she outright reject them cause those 3 still thinks they have a chance with her when clearly she’s heading straight to Mingyu. On the other hand, I wish the other 3 guys would look around the house a bit more, like you’re on a dating show with 4 beautiful girls. Why waste your once in a lifetime opportunity to just talk to one person?
I don’t really understand Jiyoung. She’d tell Jiwon and Hushin that they’re usually her type, and then go on and indirectly reject them? So what is the point of telling them that they were her usual types? At this point, we know she’s actually interested in Mingyu, but she keeps accepting dates invitation from the other three guys. On the other shows, for example Transit Love 2, Hyungyu rejected Jiyeon’s date request because he is interested in Haeun. It was that easy! If she just tell the other guys that, maybe they can move on and explore their connections with the other girls in the house.
I really really don't like the casting of this show (and most Korean dating shows). Don't the PDs ask what each participant's ideal types are during the preliminary interview? Why is everyone's ideal type the same person? Mingyu literally looks like he's suffering because all of the girls in the house likes him (except the one that he likes). That's why whenever I watch his scenes, it feels more frustrating rather than entertaining cause he just has that burdened expression on his face.
The editing is problematic too. What's the point of casting 8 people when only 3/4 people are shown throughout an hour of 16 episodes? I swear they show the PPLs more than they show Jumi, Jiwon, Hushin, and Yisoo. We've already reached the midpoint of the show, yet no solid love lines have been formed and there's just nothing heart-fluttering about these dates bc most of them are unrequited!
Exactly. I thought after their malatang date and realizing that it was always Mingyu who was sending him message,…
I think she was always aware that it was Mingyu who has been sending her messages. I agree with your point that Jimin is keeping her options open. I still think she likes Jiwon the most but because she's scared of rejection, shes trying to keep Mingyu as her second option. I think in case no one picks her at the end, she's going to start reciprocating Mingyu's feelings so at least she can say that someone picked her in the last episode without leaving the show alone.
Also I was taken aback when she messaged Hushin for the last text messages.... kinda weird. I don't know what shes even doing anymore
so tired of the push and pull romance between jimingyu. every episode has been the same storyline revolving them and i think i don't even need to watch next episode to know what is going to happen. i feel like mingyu's ultimate move to get a girl to like him is to take her to some cafe and listen to some music lol. jiwon and jiyoung date scenes were the best part of ep 6 because it felt raw and honest - but we know that this pair isn't going anywhere cause jiyoung is smitten with mingyu.
i would love to see different pairs go on dates with each other because its always the same people (jimingyu, jiyoung & gyeorae), i would love to see more of the catfishes because the show introduced these 2 and left them without nothing as if they're just there to fill the catfish position and not do anything? would love to see jimin & jiwon date as well because i wanna see how she's gonna be around someone she actually likes
i feel like it was already game over for jiwon as soon as he revealed his age cause none of the girls (except jimin & idk about the catfish) are interested in dating younger guys, and he's also so busy :( i really want to see more of him because he's my favorite member.
it is so obvious that the editing of this show + the panel is trying to push a narrative down viewers’ throat.
from what i’ve read from knetz, the scene in ep 2 where jiwon was coming downstairs was edited to look like he was looking at jiyoung, but he was looking at jumi instead. also, jumi & jiwon’s date only had 10 mins of screentime as compared to mingyu & jiyoung who had like 25+ mins. and don’t give me the excuse that jumijiwon date was short bc they hung out from 8pm to 4am im sure theres enough footage the panel is also pushing the jiwon has a crush on jiyoung whereas he has only texted her once on the first night and texted jumi four times.
since this was prerecorded, im sure the pds thought jiyoung, mingyu, and jimin were gonna be the most popular but it was jumi and jiwon scenes gaining popularity and trending on social media.
i wish the pds and panels were more transparent and upfront like transit love team. this show feels more like a heavily produced webdrama than a reality show bc everything seems edited to the max to evoke specific feelings for viewers
I would like to get some recommendations for similar stories may it be drama or webtoon (Already watched All of…
I have some drama and webtoon recommendations - although this leans more towards zombies rather than unknown alien creatures Webtoon: 1. Surviving Romance: MC is transported to a romance manga that she used to read but then things started to take a different path from the original story: zombies started to appear and everytime the MC dies, she gets reincarnated and the same thing happens again. She now must do everything to survive the zombie apocalypse in her school
2. Parallel City: Also the zombie genre but with a different twist: a parallel universe where one is swarmed with zombies and one isn't.
Drama: 1. Happiness: An infectious disease starts to appear where people have zombie tendencies and become a pandemic. MCs are stuck in quarantine in their apartment complex and things turn chaotic
2. Kingdom: Zombies but the setting is a saeguk drama (highly recommend)
omg im watching the beginning of ep 3 and seriously the students are so stupid? they literally went outside to the shooting range and saw that no one was there, and the streets are swarmed with spheres. yet, they still think that they can go home and their parents would still be there???? what???? also half of the class is annoying and i could care less if some of them die
On the other hand, I wish the other 3 guys would look around the house a bit more, like you’re on a dating show with 4 beautiful girls. Why waste your once in a lifetime opportunity to just talk to one person?
