i couldn’t get into the taiwanese version and it still is the same thing with this version.. i don’t understand why juhee and minju, yeonjun and siheon looks like the same person??? also the concept feels weird to me…

poor minju she just wanted her crush to like her back, then suddenly this mysterious person from the future who looks exactly like her possess (??) her body and made her crush like that version of her and then her crush got into a coma and then possess the body of the a guy that looks exactly like him in the future (what happened to his bf anyway ??) and make the girl who possess minju’s body fall for him and then he dies and then goes back to his og body and I haven’t finished it yet but that’s the mark that i stopped at cause it was so confusing…

the counters are so weak and they always rely on somun. all those training montages and for what? they're still useless when it comes to combating on their own except for hana, somun, and motak- but then even they can't win a 1v1 battle against the most powerful villain. also, what is the point of adding jeok bong? i feel bad for the actor bc his character has no dimension, is the weakest of the bunch, and is a comedic relief for the drama.

i have a question for people who read the webtoon

why are the ratings so low?

wow now i'm just thinking about how the pds told mingyu and yisoo to go back to the exact same place, wear the exact same outfit (except the shoes) to film the casetify ppl scene... this is comedy

at the top of my head, here are some differences that i remember:
- the pool scenes weren't that prominent/had a significance in the webtoon
- in the webtoon, ji eum didn't lose her memories at the end. instead, she lives her life as ban ji eum normally and won't remember her past lives in the next life (iirc)
- seoha and cho won weren't even in her first life. instead, doyoon was her twin sister who got murdered and there is no revenge trope in the webtoon. instead, jieum actually wished to retain her memories from her past lives so she can find her twin sister again to make sure that she'd live a happy life
- minki wasn't evil or whatever in jieum's past life, he was just someone similar to her who could remember their previous lives and tried helping her in finding ways to forget her past lives
- cho won and doyoon's relationship is much better written and portrayed in the webtoon. the drama cut out a lot of their scenes and doyoon's confession was much much better in the webtoon (he confessed to her while it was raining - similar to their first meeting)
- there wasn't any consequences to ji eum telling other people abt her past lives in the webtoon
- seo ha's reincarnated mother didn't appear in the webtoon

same thats why i try to avoid kdrama adaptations of webtoons that i've already read

i think its best to not read the original webtoon of a kdrama adaptation so u won’t be disappointed

the pds try too hard to edit and spin this show into making it a semi-melodrama kdrama and it is so evident:
mingyu is our soft-spoken male lead - think choi woong but more passive.

jiyoung is our bubbly female lead, she looks like she just jumped out from a kdrama the way pds shoot her date scenes with multiple close-up shots to her face, dreamy background music, and soft lightings.

yisoo is portrayed as this evil second lead female character that is trying to steal the main lead from our female lead. the pds even put dramatic background music whenever she shows up on screen.

gyeorae is our poor second male lead who seems to do everything correctly (in this case not so much because he's actually really boring) but doesn't get the girl in the end

and the rest of the casts are supporting characters who gets little to no screentime

not defending what yisoo said about jiyoung in the car but no one is talking about the fact that mingyu agreed with her? also hushin gets some quirky bgm while he insults mingyu to his face multiple times but yisu gets the villain edit when she said a comment abt jiyoung? idk just seeing the double standards
