Whatever the controversies are i don't care now, I just finished the drama and it was a nice show. The acting was good and i also liked the plot. Actually i liked the ending too...
Since i didn't know anything about the webtoon plot i didn't get any pedo concept while watching but just friendship ,I think that's what the series creators also thought.
I liked the japanese show so much and the actors where so cute and talented both of them nailed it. I was obsessed with them after watching the show and watched lot of videos and shows of them . Both of them were jpop idols. Michieda Shunsuke is the prettiest actor i ever seen lol. Just not them evry actors in the show where amazing and talented. The japanese cinematography was amazing as always minimalistic simple and heartwarming. The show was perfect for me and i rewatched it two or three times.
So i had my worries about the remake but now i am not even a little bit worried. They are so cute omg🤧 this characters are just perfect for them especially fourth ,i love him ,i love him so much, i was blushing through out the episodes, The cuteness level is another level, even the cinderella show i liked this version so much. I liked the fact that he didn't dress up as a girl 🥹 I love how the show is progressing... better than lot of of other gmmtv adaptations.
I love the japanese show and it is my all time favourite that feeling i got while watching it for the first time i don't think i will get it from here . And i am pretty sure this show is not going to be a perfect one. Most of the actors are not very good at acting and most of them are newbies. But i am getting a lot of new feelings here i get butterflies every time atom gaze at kongthap, I just love how cute and easy watch this is. I am not thinking a lot while watching this, just blushing a lot and having a good time.
And also we all need to understand that is japan and this is thailand. They are including a nice thai flavour to it.... . You can compare it to the og work but please consider about how the culture is entirely different here before comparing it to the og version. And as an og series fan i am not saying this is going to be better. And i don't know about others but i am pretty sure i am going to have a great time waiting for this every week and watch it with an smile on my face.
I just wish they don't ruin how this is going and just make this show even better. If they ruin it i will be really sad for sure.
And now about their chemistry even though i loved it i also felt some difference compared to my school president and moonlight. But it's not a as big as what others are saying. In my school president they were so natural you know . They are so cute as always but There is some minute problems but i don't know what it is. Actually since fourth is an amazing actor that is not getting in the way of the series but as a person who watched school president again and again i get a feeling they could have done it a little more better. May be because the difference in the production crew i thought but you know the director, editor cinematography everything is same as my school president so that's not it. hopefully it's gets even better in the next episodes. But who cares i am already so full with their cuteness.

So i don't know what you have meant by those actors have more skill than him. But i have been watching dramas for 6 years now and yeah i have watched near 600 dramas including korean,japanese, and chinese 😅. i watched lot of drams with this genre like life on mars. Even though i get where your coming from i don't think it's that extreme like your saying . I will try rewatch some of his series and reply to you again after checking .Since i watched a lot of series i can't even remember what was his acting like in signal and tomorrow with you in every scenes. I only remember those nice moments in it and just know i didn't feel repulsive and i liked it so much that time. If your the one in right i will really accept it.But as a person who loved lee je hoon's works even his variety shows like traveler i will always like him.

Yeh it's true that his acting is not over the top and he is unique in the sense he expresses little but i never felt he couldn't portray the role completely. I don't know, if he is a little more expressive may be it will be even more better...But this is him it's his own natural style and i love it.
And also it is not boring at all for me i felt it is really enjoyable his laugh when he cry and his love scenes....i like all so i never felt like it was boring. may be it's just for me but i like not just his roles but his acting too.
May be you don't like his acting it's your opinion .... your free to express your point i am also just expressing my point of view here. I am not saying your wrong. And it's also true we can see his expressionless faces in lot of scenes like you said.
And one more thing in my case if i don't like the acting of the main lead however i try i can't watch the drama fully. Cause it is like torturing yourself if you try to watch all these 1 hour episodes with most of the scenes with him or her. may be you don't care about it......
But i don't think his acting is UNLIKABLE for lot of people. If it was UNLIKABLE he should have lost his fans long ago and his series couldn't have been this much hits. oh you maybe thinking it's just because the series is good. But i don't believe it, the actors play a great role in attracting the audience for sure. I just feels lot of people wouldn't consider his acting "UNLIKABLE". May be they may think he should express a little more but it is not UNLIKABLE.
