Crazy how hated this is
Whilst it's definitely true that it missed out on some development, it was by no means bad show. The way some people think that this was a 1-2/10 just seems like an emotional outburst of a pubescent teen rather then a legitimate criticism.
At the end of the day, the show was pretty good, with the first few episodes especially shining, with great symbolism and tension. The ending too, whilst it is criticised, I feel it tied nicely with the cynical themes of the show.
