An easy-to-watch C-drama with minimal obnoxious characters. The male lead has a stable character development throughout the drama. He started out as a stubborn, immature college freshman (but his boyish charm was still attractive), and over a span of 26 episodes, he slowly matured into a fine young man who pairs well with the older female lead.
It's an extreme slow-burn, but the storyline itself is engaging enough to keep me watching. The leads also have a stable, mature relationship where they talk things out and figure out a solution together instead of breaking up for the other's sake. It was nice to watch. This drama made me realise that I actually love sports-themed dramas.
Overall, a light sports romance drama to watch after a stressful day. Nothing mind-blowing, but easy to digest and pleasant. Happy ending.
