I'm not sure why so many viewers were mad at this series. Maybe expecting it to be a standard BL and not a drama series? In any case I found it beautiful. Gritty and real, even in its dreaminess. The bracketing done by the storytelling of the girl in the hetero couple didn't bother me. She and her partner (played, I believe by the director...?) reminded me of Scheherazade of the Thousand and One Nights, and that couple had their own tale play out silently over the course of her storytelling. It was hard to figure out what two main couples/stories had to do with each other. Going by the closing shot/s maybe it was the tenement building itself. If so, that sure wasn't made clear. But whatever. I was riveted by it and could have watched it longer. The NFW scenes were secksy and sensitively done. I am a fan of Grandma.
