Does anyone know the ost in ep 17 during the part where Xie Zheng is riding in on horseback while the soldiers around are chanting Marquis of Wu'an, is it released yet?
Does anyone know the meaning of the line in ep 14 that Yan Zheng said to Song Yan, "How do you know that when…
My cousin did try to explain it to me but she said she would need to know the full context of what is happening when he said it. I feel like Yan Zheng is trying to say that Song Yan is a wild geese trying to fit in with phoenixes.
Does anyone know the meaning of the line in ep 14 that Yan Zheng said to Song Yan, "How do you know that when the northern geese fly south, the phoenixes won't be able to find a place to land?". What was he trying to say? In chinese it is: 北雁南飞,遍地凤凰难下足
Does anyone know if the Chinese title has a deeper meaning or if it's a line from a poem that might explain the meaning of the title in its native language?
This drama is made out of short drama actors I saw so many of them in supporting roles.
One of the directors, Zhi Zhu, was/is a short drama director so maybe she casted some of those actors. I don't know for sure but I'm just throwing that out there
I lowkey miss them so much, I just finished it yesterday since I started late but still I can't move on or watch…
Nothing, I haven't moved on yet 🙃 I'm just watching clips of my favorite parts and lurking on social media and here to join potentional discussions since I have severe LITC withdrawals
I have to say, Ji Bozai, has really one of the most tragic backstories of all. He deserved an apology from several people but never did. One from his birth mother, though she did somewhat apologize (she also owes Ming Yi an apology), but he didn't really care for it. Another from his master, Bo Yulan, who abandoned him even though he was an innocent baby which led to him ending up in the Sunken Abyss becoming a prisoner and suffering for years. Also one from the lady in the Sunken Abyss that deceived and used Ji Bozai to save her son. Lastly, Ming Yi also needs to apologize for hurting him and lying to him. I know they love each other to death (I also love them together, I also love Ming Yi), but I wish his hurt wasn't glossed over like that. She's made sacrifices for him too and made her love for him apparent, but I still wanted a conversation about what she did before. It's a wonder that Ji Bozai is still sane. He needs therapy after all that. And despite all that, he was always ready to do everything he could to free the prisoners of the Sunken Abyss and even sacrifice himself to save the realm. We don't deserve him T^T
Right like i think mingyi looks so pretty in the flowy stuff. But her styling as ming xian stil wasnt that bad…
I agree! Her Jixing Abyss warrior outfit seemed to swallow her up, very unflatterring and made her very childlike and small. UGH Ji Bozai's messy hair and with wispy fringes was everything ❤️🔥
I really miss the earlier styles for Ming Yi as a fairy in Wugui Sea which where so beautiful and the darker, "slutty v neck" styles for Ji Bozai. I don't like the Yaoguang clothing on Ji Bozai 😕
Ep 31 and 32 seriously pissed me off. It's so obvious how much content was cut out of the whole story to make room for the last few episodes. And because of these missing scenes, there's an obvious riff in the connections to the next part and so many missing emotions in relation to the characters that leave the viewers disconnected. Like the scene where Ming Yi and her father, previously Master She, revealed themselves to expose Ming Xin's wrongdoing and reveal Ji Bozai as the true crown prince, there must have been scenes of previous planning and discussion leading up to such an important scene! But no, it directly cut to that part. It's so frustrating and I know there's a limit to the number of episodes, but the editing really could've been done better to allow a pacing and storytelling that would makes sense to the viewers. But now we're just missing so many parts of the plot that they could've put in if they cut out some other scenes, for example the numerous scenes with Situ Ling that could have been cut shorter.
Sigh, I'm worried about a rushed finale now. We have 8 eps remaining after ep 28, yet there's so much to cover. MY and JBZ real birth background, the making of the golden millet dream for JBZ after MY finds out he isn't fully cured, Situ Ling becoming evil or whatever happens to him and the revealing of evildoings of Zhushui Spiritual State, the next Qinyun tournament, and I NEED MORE MOMENTS OF OUR LEADS TOGETHER!!!
So from the past recent episodes I take it that JBZ and MY arent truly in love yet or are they stilll fiddling…
Oh their in love for sure, even if they haven't said it yet. You don't make a weapon/artifact like Nirvana that can protect the owner when in danger for someone you don't love. And you don't have that soft look JBZ has when looking Ming Yi if you aren't in love the person haha. Their actions are telling us more than words.
Why is ML not mad at FL for trying to steal the antidote. Now that he knows her true identity he seems to not…
From watching the video of Hou Minghao's live answering questions about the drama and doing an in-depth explaination of his character and actions, he said that like lady who tricked JBZ in the Sunken Abyss in order to save her son, as long as they had enough reason in regards to their deception, whether it's for family or survival, then JBZ can understand and forgive them. So for Ming Yi, now that he knows her true identity and the reason for wanting the golden millet dream, it's pretty in character for him to forgive her, in addition to that fact that he loves her.
I appreciate the fact that Ming Yi is a FL that isn't dense, is smart and resourceful, and even though it's fake (for now) she always defends Ji Bozai in front of everyone else. She notices that his true character isn't like the front he dispalys for everyone else to see, I like how perceptive she is and I hope it continues this way. But since she's also using and deceiving Ji Bozai because she needs the Golden Millet Dream, we need some angst after Ji Bozai finds out, not him forgiving her just because she cries and says she loves him or whatnot.
Can we appreciate the fact that for Ming Yi to be seen as Ming Xian, they use an actual magical veil so that others see Ming Yi as a male guy instead of the usual crossing dressing where it's hardly believable and they have actor Zuo Ye as Ming Xian! 🤌
From the ep 9-10 bts, I think it's safe to say CSB is really comfortable around YYS. Nevermind the fact that she tries to tickle him when the cameras aren't rolling, but she even tried to tickle his feet! That just goes to show how close they have gotten and how CSB can be herself around him. The chemistry we see on screen comes from a solid foundation of that and CSB's trust in YYS. She is well known to be very introverted, but YYS has shown again and again how much he takes care of CSB and this is the result of his care and attention. Of course, he might be taking extra care of her because he's older than her and a senior from the same company. But one can dream right? 😉 Just some thoughts from an infatuated fan. May my delulu become trululu~ 😆
