First, and again, it's not a wig. Second, boycott only works when you actually can... boycott something.
Look, if you don’t like it, that’s fine, it’s your taste, but do you even know what boycotted means…? People not liking it because it’s not suited to their taste is NOT boycott. Boycott is if people are noticing problematic themes/people involved in the drama, and decided to stop watching it, so everyone involved would know not to repeat the same mistake. You don’t have to like it. You’re even allowed to give criticisms to it, but do not ever water down a term that’s been used around rn in times of a GENOCIDE simply because you didn’t like the writing of a kdrama.

guys is this worth watching how is jihoon in a historical drama
well if you're asking about jihoon, then he did amazing. i'm gonna be honest with you and say that i'm a fan of his, so my judgment might be a little bit biased, but i think he executed the characters well (he's playing two characters at once which isn't easy in general). as in the plot... from ep 1-5 i think it was pretty solid and fun, but for ep 6-7 (which i haven't finished yet), from the live recaps i have read, it might not be as fun and thrilling as the first five episodes. 😅 this is a problem i have noticed in jihoon's projects except for weak hero class 1. they all started very strong, and then started to dwindle by the middle. but i would suggest you watch it yourself because your opinion might differ than mine.

Title Love Song for Illusion Spoiler
Sajo Hyun is so dumb why would he cry for his father who is cruel, abused him, kill his mother he so dumb he should…
well, it is common for abuse victims to still long for the approval of their abuser (especially if their abuser is their only family like hyeon's dad is to hyeon). And hyeon did get a taste of his father's approval just before his death, so maybe the grieve got to do with the fact that he just hasn't really fully gotten his approval before he died.
