I think people here are thinking you are hating on actors but you are actually pointing out the writing and direction of the drama, but you also have to understand that may people are liking it so your constant criticism can give a negative impact to the drama for future viewers, i understand your disappointment because you like the novel but most of the people here didn't read the novel and liking the drama as it is so it's okay.

You can watch it it's very fun to watch but you will see her in male disguise until last episode of you are okay with it then watch it's light hearted, no trauma or serious heart break of second lead

I agree that she improved a lot just like others, but for those people who calls her talentless actress are just jealous people because she can definitely act since the beginning, she has one of the most expressive eyes in cdrama.

She actually plays the best fox demon among any other actresses played before, you can say just by seeing lu wuyi that she is a fox, and honestly although chen duling is a good actress she didn't express a fox demon perfectly like her.

It's obvious that she is talented or else how could she gained such a big fandom, those people are fans of other actresses who are threatened by her and her popularity so nothing comes up to them so they just point out her acting and unverified plastic surgery claims, I never saw those drastic changes like face shape change that people talk about her she still looks same to me with better makeup and glow up because she was very pretty and cute since the start only her one bad photo exist and people thinks that is her real face when it was just a photo taken with bad angle. She is the only chinese actress I enjoy watching because she is not only good in acting but her voice is also very good she is an incredible singer hopefully she can focus on her singing career too.
