I saw the original adaptation which was ok but pretty confusing and choppy I feel like this version is better…
the original adaptation had a really low budget, but it was still really good for what it could accomplished at that time. i loved the actors in it. they did the best they could with what little they had to work with. of course i'm loving this new adaptation and the actors as well. the higher production quality really helps to flesh out the story and characters a lot more.
no matter how much i'm loving this series so far, i myself also could not get over the implied gang rape of that boy. i couldn't believe what i was seeing. that's so heinous and it's weird just to brush off this evil act by Chi Cheng. ok fine give him a beating you'll be a dick but to orchestrate for those guys to rape him you are now a monster. especially since he knew his dad was behind confiscating his snakes and they'll be taken care of. if that was his true personality then can you imagine what he would do to Wu Suo Wei once he finds out that he tricked him? but of course they made him fluffy now so he would never do anything shady towards WSW. i just have to tell myself it's toxic fiction and not to take it too seriously in onder to barrel through and enjoy what is good about the series.
No way is this the girl from Iām not a Robot! I saw a trailer of course looking for new dramas and Iām like…
omg the FL is the main actress in I'm Not A Robot?!? Wow she looks soooo different...but you know what I always fhought the picture that the college friend sent to her to reminisce about old times at the orphanage didn't look anything like her and it wasn't just bc she had bangs in the pic. Now I totally realize the girl in the pic looks like the I'm Not A Robot actress! š¤Æ
Already on ep. 10 and Hill/Ter storyline is still dragging and sucking up all the airtime. Whole episode and Johan/North only interacted briefly for a few seconds at the beginning and the end of the whole entire episode. Ridiculous! IDC about P'Hill's friggin grandparents. If this was such an important plot point to their love story then it should have been addressed in the first half when the series was only focusing on them. Instead of having boring dragged out scenes of them literally just staring at each other in slow motion. It's time for Johan/North story. Their story keeps getting interrupted for Hill/Ter and it's not fair. I know there are Hill/Ter shippers who love to see more of them but there are also Johan/North shippers like me who have waited patiently for their story to start and it keeps getting cut off for Hill/Ter scenes. At this point I worry if Johan/North's relationship will get rushed. Their love story also deserves the same amount of screen time! It's ironic that Ter labels himself a Johan/North shipper but he's the one not letting their ship sail!
North basically agreed to being kidnapped! Though I can't blame him, Johan is so fuckin sexy, it's impossible…
Johan's forearm tattoo is only sexy if you don't know what's written on it. I wish I'd never try to read the scribbles bc it ruined it for me š so cringe.
Alrighty! Opinion check, dramalisters! 1. Romance - I believe the ML liked FL before they even got married. On…
i agree with most of your theories. i also believe that the ML must have encountered the FL while being engaged to the older sister and maybe fell for her. then he impulsively decided to take the plunge by switching her as the bride in order to not only save her from the other marriage but to have her for himself as well. he's cold towards her bc he doesn't think she has any love for him. she was only forced into the marriage with him so like you said he's a tsundere who's bad at showing emotions. especially seeing as how his mom is pretty toxic towards him so i'm assuming he's not familiar with expressing his feelings. the only thing i don't agree is you implying that bc he's a "powerful man" he would not marry a mute. there is nothing wrong with her not being able to speak. in no way would that make her any less of a perfect wife. they are able to communicate just fine and if it's for fear that others would discriminate her for the disability therefore making her not a suitable candidate as his wife then that's mess up. i'm actually kinda bummed that they don't fully commit to her character as being truly mute. what with talking to him on the phone and talking to herself and the fact that she's pretending to be mute is disappointing. i would love to see more dramas where the FL has an actual disability.
I'm in love with the second couple. I'll just have to pretend that their last scene in ep. 4 was their own happy ending, if sadly this series can't continue... Let's keep our fingers crossed guys! š¤
I partly agree with you, but I dislike most Korean BL despite the high budgets. Before the ban, China produced…
If you have not watched Unintentional Love Story I'd highly recommend it. No raunchyness like most Thai bls but the plot is there and the ml (Cha Seo-won) is a decent actor who's been in straight dramas.
Yes! I fell in love with her in Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Saber too! she's so good in smart and feisty roles. i'm so happy she gets to have more opportunities to be the leading female. people need to give her a chance!
have you seen Blueming? if you haven't i would highly recommend! i thought the acting and chemistry in that was…
oh it's been awhile!š i didn't get to see your comment until now...so happy that you gave Blueming a chance! everything you said about it is pretty on point. it was definitely a relaxing watch for me too and for a lot of others who have reviewed it. for me, what was so great was the acting and chemistry between the two leads, and you are so right about it not feeling rush even though the episodes were sadly so short. it had just the right amount of fluff (but not too fluffy) and angst and the story felt realistic. the cinematography was also really great. i'm hoping for a season 2!
Did they mention why/how Nueng died ten years ago? Nueng must have been 17-18 years old, an age one just does…
I feel like Nueng's death could still be suspicious though because yes he was in a car accident but he was on a trip with his friends that also included Tharn. Now Tharn is in a coma because he got "mugged"? who would rob a random person and then drag them all the way to a train track so they can get run over? Whoever attacked Tharn clearly knew him and was intending to kill him but he was saved before the train came.
This looks so promising... tho the trope is kinda overused, the chemistry is there...after bad buddy, except for…
have you seen Blueming? if you haven't i would highly recommend! i thought the acting and chemistry in that was really great. it's a school bl but it felt more original and entertaining. it's honestly such a little gem!

i'm loving both couples! such fantastic chemistry ~~~ ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø
