May I ask if Iljo himself is aware that he is adopted? I have not read the novel or manhwa but I'm curious if Iljo does know then why does he not clear up the elephant in the room with Jeong Han. the fact that they are committing incest. Unless he himself thinks the man who adopted him is his real dad?

idk if they will give us another flashback or explanation (i hope they do) but my theory is that judging off the sweet scene they had as teenagers it looks like they were already romantically interested in one another (whether they were aware of it or not) and maybe Jeong Han was trying to distance himself from Iljo as to not let those feelings surface. he used Iljo's status as a pariah in the family to look down on him and think of him in a negative light to keep his feelings in check. that's why no matter if he was "hostile" towards Iljo he still saved him from Jeong In beating him, offered for him to live with him, and payed for his medical bill. Iljo on the other hand jumped immediately into confessing his feelings and kissing Jeong Han when he was sleeping bc he himself had also realized his feelings but he didn't try to supress it like Jeong Han did.

right? how could he believe in the words of such an assh*le and not even try to ask Iljo about it. he just immediately jumped to the conclusion that it's the truth. how could he think so lowly of Iljo? it really made me mad. he basically thought that Iljo was just a slut who not only slept with his own half-brother, but also fooled around with random people at the hospital while taking care of his sick dad. Iljo didn't have to explain himself through text at the end of the episode. i think it's so offensive he didn't need to dignify it with clarification. Jeong Han should have figured it out through someone else and come to the realization how royally he f*cked up.

I think the OP's problem is that even if it is revealed later on that they are not blood related the issue is that they THINK they are blood related right now. i'm not sure but is it made clear to them at this point that the mc is adopted or is that something that will get revealed later on? I have not seen the webtoon but for me idc if they are half first cousins or not the chemistry is 🔥hahaha. also, has the mc always liked the ml or did he just started liking him after he was saved by him from getting beat up?

I totally agree about the ghost lady in red. I feel like they really scored with this actress. the rest of the casts acting is decent but not the best and the scary ghost lady definitely shines above them. LOL So the beginning of the 4th episode they were talking about a God of Fire and I'm assuming the dude with the lighter is supposed to be this character? Can't remember his name but the guy asking our mc out on a date is he supposed to be this God of Fire?

i'm also having a hard time accepting that there will never be a new scene that i have yet to lay my eyes upon of CC and WW ever again. 😔 i'm also coping by reading the novel and re-watching snippets of their cute scenes together everyday. you are not alone my friend. let us keep their memories alive by reminiscing and giving each other our insights into their story. 💛

I was not aware that him opening up his soul manor to her implied consent for 'dual cultivation'. I'm not familiar with this topic. I just know that outside she was physically kissing and touching him and he ended up with his robe off. So yeah, I have no problems with whatever took place seeing as how in these wuxia/fantasy dramas this is supposedly mutual consent. Thank you for being respectful in letting me know the situation instead of jumping down my throat about it.

As someone who have not had the insight of a more in depth explanation from the novel itself or familiar with the act of 'dual cultivation' I was not made aware he was consenting on them being sexually intimate as soon as he allowed her to enter his soul manor. When I was watching that scene I was expecting her to go in there and fix his destroyed soul manner by way of letting him know there is love and reasons to be alive. I guess I was thrown off by the fact that she went in there and the way for her to restore his soul manor is just by initiating 'dual cultivation' i.e. sex? Whether it was 'spiritual' or 'physical' or both it made me confused about the consenual aspect of it on his end.

If I were to ever come across a situation where it APPEARS like a person is sleeping/unconscious and someone else is touching them in a SEXUAL manner then I will always think they are being molested. Was I AWARE they were 'dual cultivating'? No. I don't watch or read enough of these types of dramas to know. What I DO know is it's not your place to correct me by saying that I shouldn't use the word 'molest' becase it's a 'strong' word. If they were not 'dual cultivating' then it would be a 'fitting' word for this situation.

ok. i was not aware they were 'dual cultivating' or what that implies. all i know is that a pressing of foreheads turned into her kissing him downward to the point where his robe is gone. how far down she caressed and kissed who knows 🤷‍♀️ all i know is that his body was unconscious and she was making all the moves. the word 'molest' is to me in this instance not 'tacky"or 'strong'. if i wanted to be extra i could have called it 'rape' but i didn't. if you think kissing and caressing someone while they are unconscious is not molestation then i can't argue with you. i made my comment before i knew they were doing dual cultivation so in MY eyes it looked non-consensual on his end.

of course i would have loved it if they had given us more kisses between CC & WW but i can also live without as long as they have a happily ever after. 🥰 i love that CC's arm went numb from letting WW sleep on it for countless hours. reminds me of that cut sleeve story of the emperor and his lover but CC didn't have sleeves to cut so he just had to bear with it LOL
CC's jealousy towards XS has definitely mellowed. i love the scene where XS & WW were hugging and saying how much they missed each other in front of CY & CC after WW was kidnapped. so frigggin' cute!
