I really like the way zhi mo speaks, even though he speaks like that because of the war. The way he shortens Mu qi/zhuo hua to Mumu is so cute. Also his relationship with Juli! Ahhh

can someone recommend a drama similar to this?

I see some comment say that supposed ruthless and commanding aura, but I feel he might be a nice person or something we’ll not entirely nice but I think his attitude towards Han yan is obvious isn’t it? Like I can tell he likes her already maybe from the moment they meet, or wtv. Also they put that he’s looking for a virtuous wife and I can see he kinda hinted at Han yan being virtuous so maybe it’s possible he’s already got his eye on her. So maybe that’s why he doesn’t seem that ruthless? I don’t know

I saw some comments saying that they just gave a fast or cheap ending to it, but I prefer this, because that Rongyang and her sadness to her spoiled mingyue daughter is so unreasonable and lasted for a few eps only, it’s to reason why I continued watching this I guess. But I guess it would be nice if they showed a long prepared plan, and make it satisfying to watch their plan in action and succeed, but I guess maybe the director think it would be too boring and old style so he decide to fit all of it in like 4 eps.

Kinda wish the crown prince would have a redemption arc and they would prove that he’s actually not that useless and dumb, but damn he only got to shoot once and someone Rong Yang’s nanny or wtv shielded her from the shot. I wished that he had more backup, but damn he was a lil too naive, but it was pleasantly surprising that he does have a team of guards or assassins or whatever. (on ep38)

I kinda dropped it at ep27 but picked it back up cause I wanna finish it, and it was not that bad. There is an annoying princess Royal or whatever and her daughter but the daughter di ed in later ep I think there are misunderstandings at first but it’s alr I think it’s well handled.(Sorry this is written messy)

I like that they make this drama feel face paced, the plot and little details might be the reason why.
