If a lot of people are pointing out problems, then its a problem. Everyone here is a viewer and trying to enjoy a drama as well. And honestly, it's a problem that they advertised it as a mafia/bodyguard drama. like look at all the promo posters using guns and suits. The director himself said it was "family drama" or something but its just not living up to it.

but either way if my mum got shot, i'd be crying myself to sleep every night until I actually know that she's alright, especially if I love her the way Neungdiao loves her. Having someone I love next to me to comfort me is great, but I probably would have no soul in me to make out with them and go to the beach and play, and sing at a wedding, and wait tables. I'd probably even refuse to eat or drink.

personally i feel like the writing for the dialogues is a bit unnatural to me. there are a few scenes where i'm like "i get what you're trying to say but who says it like this" and that makes the acting/delivery of the words more obvious in a way that it makes it feel like they're reciting them instead.

I apologise but it seems like your comment was really misleading. Of course you can criticise (i honestly also have a problem with soundwin), but to me it seemed like you were saying the writers were shitting up the WHOLE entire show. but as i said next ep is only ep 7 and they will probably resolve the rule problem and there will be a bigger problem later on.

are we watching the same show? there has been an obstacle every single episode? I don't think this show is for you if you aren't able to notice the inner turmoil of the characters and their actions. the obstacles has been mostly about their emotions as teenagers and youth. feelings of doubt, happiness, anger and love. was it not obvious enough? obstacles don't always have to be a third person or anything physical. This series is also episodic, one problem each episode. It doesn't have an overarching conflict like Bad Buddy or NLMG. It's supposed to be simple and relieving.

And I have felt nothing but love through the writing of the show. the characterisation shines through the writing a lot.

and the rule? it was because of their senior who ruined their chances at winning 'cause he was dating. they're going to touch on the fact its a stupid rule next episode.

I honestly have no idea what kind of conflict you are looking for in a high school musical romcom drama. its soft and focuses on the free lifestyle of youth and high school.

I've been seeing so many comments, not here (on twt, etc) that people are shocked that its "turning" into a musical??? It's been a musical since the first episode... i don't understand??

i heard on twitter that they basically just took the setting and character's names and ran with it. So I don't think there's any point reading the novel

it has 10 years worth of viewers and ratings which is why its no.1. This website consists of dramas, movies and shows. That list is just overall, you should look at drama rating lists not overall. And the show is still extremely popular, it easily racks up millions of views in 1 week on YT.

Of course variety shows should never be compared to dramas... they never are and never have been. Yet here you are. Variety shows come with comedic skills, production, and scripts as well. There is as much going into variety shows as there is in dramas. There's 600+ episodes , of course not all episodes are good. What does running man have to do with EAW??

nah i think the production sucks as well, all they have is a good camera. i personally think the editing is absolutely horrid for a high budget drama like this.

As expected from our Korean historical drama queen, kim yoojung! It's so good so far. I kinda wished they designed Ma Wang/Ha Ram combo a little bit better tho. the final scene in ep 2 was kinda awkward bc of that.
