I disagree with the hate for either character. I think both of them have their own clashing values and jobs, and that's okay and understandable from both perspectives.
On the hate for the FL (that I've seen on twitter recently): Of course FL was never going to really care about people, because she's a demon bro π the show's called the Judge from Hell, IDK what you were expecting. Her values and goals lie in getting back to hell as soon as possible.
On the hate for the ML: I think it's easier for us as the viewers, to get frustrated because we can see the punishment and what Bitna's doing, so of course we don't want anything to stop her and want to support her.
But he and the victims' families and friends don't. As far as he knows, she's going around killing the villains. This wouldn't really be bad, except that it prevents the victims' family and friends from getting the proper closure and justice they deserve. We see this in Ep. 6 when the mother and sister are saying they want him to apologise and want to see him punished. Even though we know he was, they don't.
Also he is a police officer and it is kinda his job to stop any kind of murder, even if it's the murder of the villains.
I personally think that's one of the reasons why the two characters are clashing, and i think it's understandable from both of their POVs. I don't hate either. (this is all IMO guys idk)
Iβm a little confused. So theres a movie version with one cast and a 16 episode show version with another?
from what I understand, the movie shows only the first chapter of the book. whereas this drama shows the entire story of the novel. I'm also pretty sure the movie focuses on the ML and FL's friendship, whereas the drama focuses on the relationships of the ML. i THINK ^^
How is the movie related to the drama? Are they essentially the same story in different formats - one movie format…
