I feel like rewatching this drama that I really loved back in the day. It's my favorite Jung Haein's drama and the chemistry with Son Yejin is incredible. Their relationship feels natural and realistic. I know a lot of people hate her character but I think she's very misunderstood. Everything she does or better, everything she doesn't do is a reflection of all the abuse and control she has endured by her mom, her (ex)boyfriend and also by her male bosses. She hasn't been taught to stand up for herself so she finds that super hard. She loves Junhee with all her heart but she feels undeserving of that love. I think her character is very humane and realistic according to her context. It's frustrating because we want to see her free and brave but in real life that's something that comes with time and lots of practice after many years of abuse. PS I also hate the mom, she is the worst and the main reason Jin-A behaves like that
I LOVED today's episodes. This drama has me hooked! I still haven't forgiven the ML but I know the writers will make me forgive him in the next episodes 😩
Didn't expect Won Ji An to be the other woman. She's like... 25 or 26? Much younger than Park Hae Joon, looks a bit weird considering their characters even had a kid
I finished it and don't know where to begin. The acting was amazing, Kim Go Eun is always on point, Park Ji Hyun was a pleasant surprise. This story triggered my frustration and anxiety more than once but I'm glad I finished it. I think people like Ryu Eunjung deserve all the good things in life, because they have remained good people even when they've been put through really sh*tty situations. The fact that even after all she suffered she would still agree to accompany Sangyeon is shocking to me, so I cried a lot for her. These things happen a lot in life and there are many people like Sangyeon, who unfortunately cannot comprehend how deep their actions can scar someone else. I understand it's really hard to choose to be good when all you've known is despair, grief, anger and jealousy, but she could've and should've done better, especially for the only person who was always there for her in spite of everything. It's clearly human, but still unfair that when she became ill she regretted all she had done. I give this drama 9/10 because it really is that good.
I've watched 10 episodes so far and honestly Cheon Sangyeon seems truly pathetic to me. You can have a life full of difficulties and depressing moments (and I do understand how empty and angry that can make you feel) and still try to do the right thing and be good to who's been with you through thick and thin. But she keeps being jealous and choosing to hurt Eunjung. I mean, the actress has done a great job because I seriously want to punch her in the face 🤣
The finale felt slightly rushed, the proposal and the leads' conclusion on love. I don't know, I still feel like 16 episodes would've been perfect to give the story proper closure. But overall I really enjoyed the drama
PS I also hate the mom, she is the worst and the main reason Jin-A behaves like that
