A big disappointment

The teaser, the pilot, the trailer... they were all fantastic and hyped me up for the show.
Then the show started and I felt sorry for Pat, poor soul was crying in the bathroom. Then he cried again... then he whined and pouted the entire episode. Now that I am done with that mess, I can honestly say that Pat is the most annoying characte of this year. Yeah I know it is only July, but there isnt any ex girlfriend with evil plans or homophobic dad that slaps everybody, that could be as annoying and irritating. Pat has great ideas, but he is always staring with his mouth slightly open, in silence...

The other characters are great, the ''villain'' becomes a cool lady, EVEN THE VILLAIN IS NICER THAN THE MALE LEAD!!
If you focus on the other characters, you will have fun. Unfortunately you will have to skip like 20 minutes of the male lead whining and like 10 min of him in silence, but those 15 minutes with Chot, Ae, Mr Jeng, Jaab, Jane, will be great!

I feel sorry for Ben. He deserved a better debut in acting. I will keep supporting his work. And his voice is beautiful.

If you feel like watching... then watch. It is a forgettable show with some good scenes.

Short, sweet and unproblematic

When Korea wants to give us BLs with quality, they eat that up. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!
No spoilers here, just facts:
*8 episodes without fillers. No long scenes showing nature with elevator music
* Couples with great chemistry between them (as lovers and as friends).
* Dead fish kind of kiss? NOPE, NOT HERE.
* Like ThamePo, it gave us a look inside the issues that public figures deal with when they have a relationship. But here they are not actors, one is a retired gymnast and the other is a basketball player on the rise.

You can watch without worrying about a wild ex appearing or misunderstandings that last more than 1 episode. If you're having a sh*tty day, just watch it and you will feel warm inside (then you will notice that the reporter is the actor for Jun & Jun, and think "I should rewatch Jun & Jun).

Just skip this one.

It was bad, but not the guilty pleasure kinda bad, it was just... almost painful to watch.
The pilot was waaaay better than the series.
Bad characters, awful acting, poor plot and to top it all off... A CLIFFHANGER!!!! Do they really think we want a season 2?

It was trashy, not even camp. They had a scene with 2 KIDS kissing (even if it was a peck).
They gave us the VegasPete from Temu.
Some scenes were like fever dreams.
The main character (Sun) cheated on Nu. Was he drunk? NO. High? NO Angry with Nu? NOOO
The best part was him asking for forgiveness: It was my first mistake.
Nu forgave him. Sun spent the whole show following the same patter : Do/Say sth shtty - Ask for forgiveness- Gets sick and tries to manipulate/ sweet talk Nu - Get away wit murder

If you want plot, you wont get any. If you want NC scenes, watch them on twitter/X. If you want a great cast full of strong actors... watch something else. hahahahaah
