Love the cast but…
I was patiently waiting for years for season 2 to drop. but.. idk it was definitely good but I didn’t feel the connection to s2 like I had with S1.
The best thing about s2 was the cast and the acting! it was immaculate!!
But the pacing and storytelling overall felt off ? it basically felt like a lot of fights through 8 short episodes. main characters suddenly appeared and disappeared and backstories to understand them a bit more were left out. It also seemed a bit unrealistic how fast there injuries disappeared? they got 10-15? hits to the head and were walking like nothing happened…
What also threw me off was the beginning. the trailer and also end of s1 was showing sieun walking into the new class and s2 begins one year after transferring to the school. There are so many questions open to answer! why do baekjin and baku hate each other so much? why did he die? where does seungjae(?) suddenly disappeared to? I thought he’s the main bad guy? Like I have so many more questions bc the storytelling was so off.
overall definitely nice to watch but it sadly couldn’t reach s1 :(
