Yesssss that's why Yoon EH or Park BY would've made it for me in Catch the Ghost. They have that special aegyo powers you just described. For idols, I'd say Last Mission is perfect example - FL and ML acting was night and day.

Why is JCW even here lol I can say that we've been objectively admitting his last 2 dramas were not up to par. I'd say LMH. TKEM comments got highly defensive compared to Start-up.

Yes she came off as a whining kid. It's strange how one actor/actress has his/her own "feel" of the same character. For example Sound of your Heart vs its Reboot - same character different actors, it was like a completely new character. Even Dumbledore in Harry Potter lol!

Yes that is what boggles me. I get that NDS was the advertised ML from the start, backed up by a halyu star NJH. I've even come to terms that Dodal makes sense for an emotion (not logic) driven "youth drama" - BUT WHY bother building HJP character to a ML standard? Why purposely outshine your ML? Just why.

If only the 2 became closer instead over the time jump rather than being frozen for 3 yrs. We could've gotten a better loveline.

You're at a good position now cause you can set your expectations before watching. Then you're more likely to enjoy it all the way. Know that this is a love-triange focused drama in a business setting. Since you came for NJH and Suzy it will be more interesting to see if you stick to Dodal the whole way. Do let me know :))

There is no dispute that HJP is a better option. But it's also true that in reality you can fall in love not because he's better, sometimes you just do. I guess this is what the whole Dodal idea is aimed at - they're at their 20's and they're emotionally driven in love and career. It was advertised as a "youth drama" after all. They just miserably failed to get us on board.

So I just rewatched the coda scene if maybe I missed it lol.. but HJP didn't tell them he will mentor them, SST just went straight to entering sandbox. Then HJP applied to be a mentor (the scene posted) just in case "they lucked out and get in" but he even "hope they don't get in". Also, a few seconds prior to neck pillow VP entering, he wrote on sandbox wall "to pay my debt" so I think really at this very early stage, he was just about Dalmi/Granma and nothing towards SST. Again, it changed later on which is why his character development was well written (until the time skip that is).

I stan HJP and I agree. She should start realizing she is better off by herself for now to grow as a character/person.
