Bitna suspected Seonho as J until the basement confrontation, which tells me she really only saw Seonho in the officer’s memory..But then the officer’s last moment was with Taegyu so why didn’t she see him?

What “reality” when we’re both watching a kdrama? Like I said it’s a writer’s fantasy story.

Why not? If Eunho has suppressed emotions that she desperately wants to convey and could only do it through Hyeri, then all of Hyeri’s feelings is still hers. She “hates” her Eunho self thus the forgetting part but if she learns to accept everything she is, then that would be both Eunho and her suppressed self Hyeri. Now the accepting process is the tricky part and Hyunoh is definitely for the worse. If she could do it on her own great but so far she is going downhill. She may need a good stimulus just to start the process and why would hoping Juyeon would be it is a bad thing? They could learn to heal together which she and Hyunoh failed to do bc their relationship was rather an “escape”.

At the end of the day it’s a writer’s fantasy story not necessarily what did irl is. The writer/s are very talented so far in this, so they could really finish this drama strong. Hopeful anyway.

I think the intent was to portray a toxic romance to begin with so it’s not ruining the drama just yet. How they conclude it from here is what could ruin the drama.
