HTS too will be shown his selfish side. It’s like at the end of the day, civilian or army, rich or poor, each have their own greed may it be the people they love or material things, and humans will be humans. Literally nobody is a typical kdrama-made perfection here.

They won’t. To the end, the drama is about the people not the zombies

On the contrary, I wasn’t a big fan of how Lady Jo’s real motives turned out (jealousy and revenge). If she had kept her virtue to protect and value her court ladies, with the means being her only fault, I would’ve empathized with her death. Just my opinion.
