a kiss would be more like a cherry on top. it’s a really good drama— kiss or not. also given how innocent/naïve…
mhm. i liked the ending kiss in to my star and the kisses in ctl but i think those are it from bl. as for gay shows, i find that in asian media its rare and i basically only consume asian media (and i like cartoons too lol) so yeah idk. mm. i really liked woh for the way it did bromance. the non-sexual acts of love were great. i do really like bromance, i prefer it in shows but in other things like manhuas and books, i like more a bl/gay vibe.

I don’t find it boring or slow at all. I like the pace and the lack of annoying BL tropes. Yes, they did go…
yeah, i love this show. it feels like a good pace but i see a lot of complaints so i just wanted to put it out there that this is just what they're not use to maybe.

i feel whenever i talk about aoki im biased lol. a lot of people say he's annoying and in theory, i thought i would find him annoying too (characters who are over dramatic tend to annoy me) but i didn't. his outburst and reactions seemed to fit to me because imo, he's growing more aware of his feelings for ida and it probably scares him. his immaturity makes sense to me. and yeah im glad akkun and hasshi are there for him. theyre really good friends.

Ida impresses me as a character, the more we get to know him. But Aoki seems to regress and act more and more…
somebody said it below but aoki is just scared of putting his feelings out to ida and getting nothing in return. he doesn't want to say all this only for ida to be like no, i dont actually like you. we, as the viewer, see everything unlike aoki. he only get his pov. in his pov, he doesn't know if ida likes him.

personally, i see aoki as a person is being revealed more. in the beginning he was just funny and a bit shallow but i see the depth of his character. also ida has provoked him knowing the way aoki will react and aoki doesnt like it because he still feels as if he and ida are on different levels. he likes ida but does ida like him? wouldn't he feel like shit if ida was actually toying with him?

so i dont think he is getting more childish just more vulnerable. this is his first time liking a guy after all. its also set in japan. the longer it takes for ida to figure it out, the more anxious and scared aoki gets. his reactions will grow bigger and bigger which can be seen as childish. he doesn't want to lose ida but he needs to protect his own heart too. he will react in ways that seem like pushing ida away but i think ida needs it. easier to figure out if you like someone when they're away from you than if they're right by you.

eh i really dont care for kisses in bl (or other types of dramas). theyre never the cherry on top for me. i can see how they would be for other people tho. its just personal preference.

oh but kiekoi is rated m from what i see? maybe its the country differences or something im not really sure.

Yes. The reason i feel the need to visit this page is because i want people to really understand the story, even…
i mean bl would be boring with the same plots n characters. im happy to have shows like this and shows that arent like this.

also i dont understand why people think hira's pov is reliable...this man is unhinged? i doubt the people ranting about it will pay attention. they seem to expect something out of a fairytale fantasy. utsukare will have growth and development but they will probably refuse to look more into it anyways.

I’m okay without a kiss too bc I thought the way it happened in the manga was good. I mean the real manga timeline…
oh i havent read the manga fully yet (literally cant even find it lol) so i didnt even know there was a kiss there lmao. the manga timeline is even slower than the show i think. but the way its paced is really good to me? like i think its perfect honestly.

this comment section is so....intresting to say the least.

i mean i like the show. its good. i get that its toxic. i think everyone does at this point. its been said so many times. if you dont like it, you can just drop it quietly. announcing you despise its rotting toxicity is...overdone. do you see how many people hate this show lmfao.

actually no keep going this entertains me more than the goddamn drama itself.

also i found it really funny how people in the beginning were more annoyed kiyoi was calling hira a creep (or gross i forgot tbh) and shit when like hira is a fucking creep. hes not wrong? be mad that he orders hira around ig. i mean hira doesnt care tho hes in love with kiyoi-

i wanna see how this plays out anyways. its a good show. imo anyways.
On My Love Mix-Up! Dec 14, 2021
unlike most people i would be happy without seeing a kiss from them tbh. it wouldnt hurt but i dont think its needed. like i wanna see it but it would change nothing for me if it didnt happen.

this show is by far one of the most well-done dramas based with a bisexual main character who is in high school. dont know if im biased to see something like my first love play out in a happier way but i feel like yeah. this is good.

also i think the reason people find this boring is probably because its actually similar to how actual lgbtq+ people experience love in high school (specifically bisexuals). bl is not an accurate rep of queer people and their lives. of course, not everyone experiences the same things but i do think kiekoi is a more realistic take on queer teens in high school. like queer people and their lives arent really that exciting man. we just like different genders lmfao.

I'm so confused honestly. Cos like Aoki is the one who doesn't want to be seen together and he's the one always…
aoki hides it because homophobia is strong in asian countries dude. its set in japan cmon. also ida never makes it clear to aoki that he does like him. all aoki can do is assume.

I don't understand how he switched his crush of a long time so fast when he didn't even confess to her
it wasn't real love. just infatuation.
