i like the way this show potrayed homophobia. its not the center of attention like most shows with gay couples. the focus is on aoki and ida's growing relationship. not about them being two guys who like each other just two people to like each other. i like that.

my personal experience with homophobia has been a little like aoki's with okano. when okano jumped to say he wasn't intrested in "that" and everything. that's happened to me before. the amount of people who have told me they're not intrested after they find out is crazy (like no...my standards are higher).

i like it as there are many ways it can play out. like demon wants to hug had the reincarnated character forget their past but here in 2ha moran remembers and has just gone back to his 16y/o self. reincarnation makes some really good stories and plots.

ooh love reincarnation ones. read a manhua with reincarnation. it was like a god sacrificed himself and he forgot his past but his past lover appeared and it was like him tryna win him back. its one of my favourites. i also like transmigration as well. they always tend to be comedic.

well idk but to me aoki and ida's relationship is pretty believable. they do seem like real people too. what do you consider toxic and problematic emotions tho? jealousy? anger? bc the characters do have them in kh. sure they're handled quickly but cmon its 10 episodes that are 20 minutes long. point is they're there.

also its funny how you say their relationships are conducted with the maturity of 11-12 year olds when this show is starts with the mc being "bullied" by the ml.

tho imo there arent actually a lot of "wholesome, functional healthy garbage" like kh and cm. theres generally a "healthy" dose of homophobia (explored poorly) and overly jealous characters who think s/a-ing their partner is the answer in bls.

i like this show so far. i like the plot and what not, its interesting. others wont bc they think its too much and they should just fuck off instead of shitting on it. but i also think you enjoy this show without shitting on others. it doesnt mean its garbage if its "unrealistic" in your eyes. portraying a relationship like the ones in kh and cm is not garbage for not fitting your relationship standard nor is it terrible writing lmao.

yes i love xianxia sm. many xianxia dramas really do have the prettiest set ups. i think its because they can do whatever with magic and everything lol. the plots are almost always super intresting and intricate as well. i like all the magical aspects too the fantasy aspect was my obsession when i was a kid lmao.
