i don't think the show glorifies the sexual assault but the fans certainly do. do yall understand the problems with this show is how it never ever addressed the sexual assault? sure it didn't glorify it but it did ignore tharn's actions and idk what's worse because i've seen so many young bl fans loving this show and think that what tharn and type have is a good relationship.

personally yes i did like the show thanks to the chemistry but i believe it would have been way way better if the show fucking talked about the issues it made. ive seen comments saying how type wanted this but did they all forget how he literally hates gay people because a pedophile sexually assaulted him when he was younger? no one wants to relive that trauma. its so fucking frustrating.

all these fans ignore the gigantic issues in front of them because they just want to fetishize gay relationships. for fucks sake our relationships are not to be fetishized especially when that relationship is as unhealthy as this one. sure the show is fiction but ive seen far too many cishet women thinking that they can act like our relationships are nothing but for show. you fucking people are the reason why people dont take sexual assault towards men seriously. fucking disgraceful.

you can enjoy the show and call out the issues it has. don't blindly defend this show just because you like the couple.

the first bl i ever watched...my feelings are very conflicted when it comes to this drama. i was like 10 when i watched it or something so very young and it made me really happy but i didnt know why. i never felt that way about straight couples (this was a definite clue im not straight lolllll).

this is not the best bl out there. i personally hated a lot of gu hai's actions in the drama and in the novel but god, their chemistry and everything was so strong. i don't like assuming things especially when it comes to actors who play couples but i think there was a point where they truly loved each other romantically. probably not anymore but i think it's for the better. being chinese myself ive experinced first hand how they treat lgbt. it's better now that it was before but it's still pretty bad.

i really loved the second couple too. yang meng was my favourite character so yeah. i was really sad i didn't get to see their relationship progress cuz i think feng song and chen wen had amazing chemistry. seeing the bts really made me think they were perfect as you qi and yang meng.

i was rewatching some of it last night and i got super emotional. this drama was the one that helped me understand my own sexuality. it was also chinese which made me even happier because you never see content like this from a conservative country like china. the fact it was cancelled really hurt but censorship in china is terrible and it will be that way for a long time. i don't really have too much hope but maybe one day, we will see more lgbt dramas and it can help lgbt people in china feel seen in the media and to help lessen the stigma.

i think i might just drop this i really really liked this and then the romance kicked in and its just...no. i do not like the couples whatsoever and idk how much interaction the siblings are actually gonna have but i'm leaving it on hold because i've already watched half of it and im just too invested for them to get together and have a nice relationship with each other (and this part im talking about the siblings not the romance) istg i dont suppose it would hurt to skip everything but the siblings right?

i have no idea what's the problem with bright's acting honestly. i really mean it lmao. his portrayal of sarawat was fine to me? maybe because i see sarawat as a character that doesn't show many expressions. maybe i'm just blind to good acting lmao. his acting isn't the best but it's not like the worst? just really average. he could improve and he probably will so i say don't worry about it. however long he's been acting doesn't matter because improvement can come at any time :)

now the special eps...ah yeah, i'm just watching for mantype and phukong and mil. the entirety of 2gether and still2gether is just very, very ok and i dare say, not really anything special honestly. there's also a small part of me that definitely thinks people only watch for their faces but well, whatever lol.
