yk i do think nearing the end it lost a lot of steam but that's life and i think it wasn't aiming for an "end" more just this is how life is. not everything gets solved by the end. changing a system takes time especially realistically. i think the reason it lost steam was that it follows life. it went through highs and lows, the fast and the slow.

also remember tawi is not the final bad guy, the system is. taking down tawi was a part of the plan, not THE plan. the focus on tawi was because he is what represents the system. plus very hard to take down the system all they could do is slowly change it with their actions. not me might just be one of the most realistic shows ive ever seen.

all the issues not me brought up are so relevant to todays society. ive never seen a bl that actually talked about lgbtq+ in a wider scope of more than just "homophobia bad". not me is the first to do a lot of things and i think its wonderful. also the consent scene woooo. every bl needs to take notes.

oh and i wanted more of black and white. gram was sort of useless apart from info dumping. the two gay couples were nice they were so soft for each other. i felt more for black than i did the second couple tho. eugene and gram were just a surprise man. good or bad? idk.

special mentions about the fighting choreography. amazing. and like everyone else i have to mention the soundtrack. every song was perfectly selected.

im about halfway and its pretty good. i like that they focus on actual issues in the world.

lol i agree about bright that boy can barely act i still think hes pretty cute when hes not doing that...really weird facial expression. i personally have never come across a thai bl i fully loved (actually maybe uwma i was obsessed w it for a hot sec). as for bls as whole, i liked kieta hatsukoi (actually good rep of a bisexual mc and i say that as a bisexual myself), tms (despite the plot being kinda weak like there was none basically but yeah) and kissable lips (messy? yes. rushed? yes. did i still love it? yes.). none of those are thai tho.

i think thai bl relies on fan service a lot tbh. like a lottttttttttt. it really works too because you see fans going crazy over it. honestly, im pretty sure most people know that if they act in bl first and do fanservice its an easy way to fame as you said. some actors have talent yes but i cant really find a thai actor i really like in terms of acting i think offgun might be my top choice and then ohmfluke but yeah thai actors dont stand out to me. i mean nunew is doing good here but sometimes its just like not that great tho hes actually doing considerably better than some actors and its his first role. as for zee, hes doing good too but this script isnt doing anyone any favours.

yeah i really dont actually expect much from thai bls adapted from novels anymore knowing the type of people theyre written by which are just straight women who are fetishizing gay relationships essentially. like what happened to yi and diao in the novel apparently just sounds so insane to me i cant even watch them without laughing anymore. they also make it incredibly toxic (like so much rape and sexual assault along with manipulation smh).

i just watch for entertainment tbh and i really hope people get that this isnt how actual gay relationships are and that people get that when we call out toxic behaviours in shows its bc they do have an influence even if they think it doesnt.
