I love how versatile both of them are. So glad ZL has a strong, independent and intelligent role here. Happy she isn't type-casted.

Lots of Cdramas w/"sassy" FLs that were actually sassy (lively, bold, and full of spirit; cheeky). This one should be title "My Thirsty Princess". Again, the term is subjective.. but whatever, it's cool. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. Happy to see the first post I read answer my question.

It's fine. I'll wait till it's done and see how others review it. This one has a good cast, but just not my thing now. "Decreed By Fate" is also fluffy. FL never really evolved, but was still enjoyable. I guess the term "sassy" can be subjective.

Thank you for your post. I just started and it's taken me time to get through the first episode. Wanted to ask if the FL this thirsty later in the drama. Love a strong, intelligent and domineering FL, but this one is a little too much. (Referring to the fictional character and not the actress..)

He doesn't remember the moments before his accident till later in the drama. It drags in certain episodes due to this reason.

It seemed like the divorce was due to Weng Xing (husband) trading his wedding ring for a bracelet for Meng Meng while they were on their honeymoon, then telling her he could just buy another one. Actually, there were a lot of mishaps during their trip, but the ring thing is what really hit her hard.

He looks pretty different in the profile photo compared to what we see in his videos. Some of the costumed vids he's done in a hanfu really threw me off and I thought he was a woman. Pretty, either way.

Agree! Love that the FL isn't ridiculous, but instead calm, well-spoken and knows how to stand up for herself. // I made bitter melon with scrambled eggs after watching the first episode, then made stir fried tomatoes with fluffy scrambled eggs. Craving hotpot now, too. Although not as legit, if you have an Instant Pot it works well (without the lid) and is easier to clean up.

The subs for the first few episodes were terrible on Youtube. Episode 4 isn't as terrible on Dramacool. Definitely not perfect, but better. This seems to be typical of new(er) Cdramas on MangoTV..

I'm wondering if the FL's character actually did suffer some sort of brain damage... or if it's really the case of only one twin getting ALL of the intelligence. ...and if the ML has some sort of complex with liking stupid females that make him feel more needed/useful/smarter.

So tempted to add "Stupid Female Lead" to the tags. I'm only on episode four. Why did they make her so ridiculous. Not cute, endearing, or appealing, just mostly obnoxious and embarrassing -_-. Hope things improve. The cringe factor is high right now.
