Took me awhile to scroll all the way down to here. That's a lengthy list of shows! This man is not only crazy talented, beautiful inside and out, but also just so damn likable.
Keep Running S10 EP5 ..the jumping leek/onion game. OK, who chose that "My name is Boom Boom" song for Sha Yi?!! ...cleaning off my keyboard now. No one should drink or eat while watching.
Totally ugly cried at the last episode. Aside from wanting to toss multiple random citizens, overbearing mothers, and a rotten mother-in-law in the trash, I really enjoyed this one.
It isn't the genre I usually follow and initially watched for Bai Lu, but came to really adore the other characters, especially the chief. Li Da Wei's mom was also pretty wonderful.
This drama is better than WRTW drama (if someone disagree with me or ask me to not compare don't reply me, this…
Totally not triggered by others' opinions :) Different kind of vibes for me, but I do feel more chemistry between these leads compared to WRTW. Loved that one (except the ending) and am enjoying this as well.
Wondering if the writer of this show has mother issues. Only LDW's mom is likable.
I see that too. Lots of irrationality and shamelessness in many of the citizens. Felt frustrated over the old guy with the dog and his harassing family in earlier episodes.
I'm still finishing up episode 3 and Wayne Zhang's facial expressions of being wronged (stool gathering game & finding the "bad" guy) are so excellent, lol. No idea who he is/was prior to this show. Will look out for him in the future.
Lol "Officer Yang, please arrest me!" These lines are great in this episode. I can't stop laughing. Looking how…
Honestly tried not to laugh, but when he was explaining to his roomies/the guys what happened and Ji Wei plopped down with a journal and pen to take notes, I lost it.
...also, the chief's face and expressions when Da Wei stepped up to volunteer.
Guys, I have a question... You all say this is not a romantic drama, right? But then why there is a tag for romance…
Up till episode 16, there are no obvious romantic scenes. There are parts where the main characters interact and support each other, but nothing that points to it being a romance. It does feel like iQiYi is using screenshots or particular clips that allude to something going on between the leads, but it's more like bait to draw in more views..in my opinion.
I really don't like that Officer/Chief Cao. He wants to take the credit when something good happens and then when…
One thing that really gets me about this drama is that they rile us up and get us angry with the behavior of the irrational citizens or the old(er) officers, then they delve deeper into the character(s) to let us see their human side/why their behavior is such. They haven't always justified things, but it's served in a manner where we have more understanding.
...still strongly dislike the Dr. Wu storyline in episodes 12 & 13, but the behind the scenes eased the rage. The actor was sweet and apologetic to BaiLu for the slap.
