I'm neither a fan or an anti of CDL, but often think it's fans of the stars that sometimes aggravate and cause issues that are not under the control of the artists. Like, we can praise a celebrity without trashing or comparing to others. I've seen/read articles comparing her beauty to Bailu's and it's just one of the most subjective and superficial things to do that only triggers people. It also raises the question if there are some in the background purposely trying to sow discord (set fandoms against each other).

This was made a million years ago when Sun Wu Kong was still alive! Taking forever to air. Both Neo and Bailu were so young in this production. He's grown taller and they've all aged since this was filmed.

Luo Yunxi would be perfect. She was already in a Republican era drama w/XK (Arsenal Military Academy).. from that production his fans gave her a really hard time (pretty abusive).

Both LYX and Bailu mentioned wanting to do a Republican drama together, so maybe this might be a good one. Luo Yunxi's fans were supportive and protective of her during the recent nonsense that was stirred up during TTEOTM.

1. I had to rewatch the ending and found it wasn't what I had originally thought and that lessened the pain. The ending is bittersweet; however, the ML's spirit/soul is recovering in the dragon scale.
2. I loved it, but have been anticipating these actors coming together again after "Love is Sweet". Many viewers get stuck on certain things, but forget that we see everything from all viewpoints where these fictional character have limited views, so misunderstandings come about.
3. I'm neither a fan or an anti of Chen Du Ling or her character, but most of the crap that goes down has her sewing discord and scheming.
4. There are definitely melo parts and gut-wrenching scenes, but the acting is amazing. (totally NOT fluff)
5. Yes, ML is powerful and the fighting scenes which involve a lot of CGI is done well, in my opinion.

Overall, I recommend watching and forming your own opinion. The ending is not what a lot of people understood. ML is not totally dead and gone.

I love Bailu and Zhou Shen's friendship! Newbie FCC is hilariously loud.

First time watching her in The Starry Love. The character is written a bit impetuously, but she's absolutely adorable! I'll check out her other roles after TSL.

It's ok to have differing opinions. I think her mission and responsibility trumps her standards. Standards go out the window when she sees certain behavior the reflects the Devil King that killed so many. It was a reminder and wake up call on why she's there. Her feelings don't matter, but she will regret how harsh she was when she learns about what happened to his mother's remains in the next episode... Much of the drama involves misunderstandings and lack of communicating, but that adds to all the angst.

In addition to Luo Yunxi, I believe Sun Zhen Ni (our little fox) is using her actual voice.

As Li Susu, she witnessed him as the Devil King, murder her sect and family. It's more than just getting upset over meals cooked and time spent. She was sent to prevent the future murder of the immortals, humans, and sects by killing him. She doesn't realize she's falling in love with him and when he purposely antagonized her by saying who he killed without giving details because he's upset thinking she is still thinking about Xiao Lin. She went there that night to see if TTJ had gone to their camp, not to betray him. If he dies, he will turn into the Devil King unless she prevents it with those nails.

Now seeing a melon (rumor) that Bai Jing Ting is another prospective ML for this one..

I just read that our little fox gave him her life force after he was dying. He turned immortal or a god then.. hence the white hair/change.

Youku's VIP on YouTube does not have all of the current episodes yet...only their app does. The alternative to that is to watch on the unofficial/unlicensed streaming sites, like Kissch and/or Dramacool. I'm about to cancel my subscription on YouTube.

No one forcing you. Enjoy other shows/dramas with actors conforming to the body size/structure that appeals to you. This fan isn't bothered at all. Bet the team that helped with his wire work are thankful that his stature and grace made him easier to work with.

Likely many of the actors are tied to the same agency (shanghai film and television media co. ltd.) and/or have an agreement with Youku. Looks like a handful of the cast graduated from Shanghai Theater Academy.

LOVE this female lead. She's strong and gives off Ha Ji Won vibes! Hope this drama stays on track and has a good ending.

Not in this profile photo, but in others she looks sort of like Park So Dam. So pretty. Watching her now in Knight of the Rose.
