The novel is slow in being translated, but can already tell it's different than the Cdrama...so far. Like there's no mention of an electrical anything tied to her bracelet.
After suffering brain damage from the beating, I think the ML was not registering any brain wave activity. Whatever medical/research company FL is tied to recommended using that helmet device thingy to "shock" his brain...(only in drama world). This is only my assumption from watching while using crappy Google translate.
You've probably already come to the same conclusion that her strong emotions trigger some sort of electrical disturbance in the drama. Unsure if it only works w/the bracelet, but sure wish she used that "power" when those evil "Gary" people were involved.
It is still airing til 7/11, so not quite sure who ends up with whom. Still isn't subbed, so in my desperation, I am using the Google Translate app on my cell and holding it up to my desktop to try and figure out what's going on. (helps about 15% -_- )
Episode 28 and I'm so done w/the ML's character. Nian Nian is much better suited with the second lead. He's more caring and thoughtful while GZC does whatever he feels like without explaining things. The writer(s) should not have incorporated such a ridiculous, hurtful storyline to having his character trick SNN to break things off (so stupid and unnecessary). It should take more than a bouquet of roses to make up for the crappy stomping on her feelings and making her cry.
One of the reasons "Put Your Head on My Shoulder" was such an excellent drama was the lack of scheming, small-minded people in the plot. I could overlook the overacting in this one, but making a male lead's character so thoughtless really makes him unlikable. All his good deeds were tied around his money.
Looking at the backstory for the parents, looks like SNN's mom also went for the more assertive guy who happens to come from a wealthy family. Would love to see SNN end up with Ye Xing Yu who seems more devoted and has a nice mom.
So far, 18 episodes in and I like her with Ye Xing Yu better.
Aside from the main characters, I've named the extra (students) in my head. There's "long hair", "no eyebrows", "muscle twig", "camera gossip guy" and "hair color guy".
Same writer for both stories. In the posts below, someone noted that the characters crossover in the book and in "A Love So Beautiful" there's an episode where this couple is briefly seen or mentioned. Momo is the colleague of the female lead from ALSB.

There's episode summaries on this site in Chinese. It's easier to use the translate feature on your computer then skim/lightly read and figure out what happened. https://baike.baidu.com/item/%E5%BD%93%E5%A5%B9%E6%81%8B%E7%88%B1%E6%97%B6/22605536#%E5%88%86%E9%9B%86%E5%89%A7%E6%83%85

...apologies for the rant. Just needed to vent.
