Agree with you. Theres no chemistry between Lin Shija and CiCi wang unlike when Li Xian is partnered with her in Season 1. Li xian potrayal is much more convincing as well compare to Lin Shija.

I already watched the first 5 episodes of the Season 2. I can say that Li Xian is still the best fit for the role of Guo De You. Its a bit weird everytime Lin Shija is acting the way Li Xian does in the First Season, most specially on Episode 5 during the wedding of Ms Wang, you can see the huge age gap appearance of CiCi Wang and Lin Shija. Even the opening theme of this Season 2 is not as likeable as the Season 1. I find it weird as well everytime Lin Shija acts jolly. Its like unnatural of him. Unlike when Li Xian is doing that, it has a different effect. Well the story on Season 2 is still nice, but Li Xian is still the best fit for the role. Hoping if ever there is Season 3, the director should bring back the original Guo De You.
