Agree, totally, with your assessment of this series. IDK… just “pleasant” isn’t cutting it with me, anymore, and it seems like 98% of BL series, now, can be described as less than good and/or enjoyable. Surprisingly, the ones from Mainland China are the biggest surprises!

I’m only on ep. 1-10, but it’s very cute, so far. Watching on You Tube where someone has condensed the series into, I guess, two parts(?), 1-10 and 11-20.

Yes, it’s like I love Boun, but he and Prem seem to only be offered poorly written series. I’m holding out hope for ReVamp. So far, it’s better than others starring BounPrem, but, I’m not very eagerly awaiting each new episode. We’ll see.

I’ve been trying to make it my new habit of watching ANY J, C, or K dramas that explore any, and all, alternative lifestyles and attitudes. First, because I want to add to the viewing numbers, to encourage these series, and because they deserve to be watched. Cinderella Closet, My Girlfriend is the Man are two I’ve watched, recently, (there was a third, but I’ve forgotten what it was, now).
It was cute and I liked it. Hikaru is ADORABLE!!! The acting was typical for Jdromcoms.
Watch the alternative lifestyle series, no matter if they are meh, because they open minds and change attitudes, so they deserve to be seen.

Great review. But, I seem to differ from others as far as “red flags” are defined and perceived. There ARE no red flags that I see as red flags, that is to say, others’ perceptions of red flags don’t bother me at all. if I allowed red flags to bother me, I wouldn’t have enjoyed some of my favorite series, like TharnType and KinnPorsche
