Yep i thought her arc was good and i actually liked the message it gave. But I just felt that it shouldn't be so near the end where the focus should be on the main cp. Maybe shift it earlier or even as an extra episode ?

Just finished this drama last night. It was a lovely end to such a good series! This has been the only drama that made me laugh and cry, all in the same episode. There were some crazily romantic scenes and I'm never going to forget how well they shot the rainbow staircase and kiss on the cheek in period costumes. These were amazing and they weren't even a couple yet!
It started off a bit rocky in front because of the misunderstandings and over the top humour (which took some getting used to for me). I think most people who dropped it didnt get past episode 8. That's where it started to become really good. It was a roller coaster of emotions and the team knew exactly how to come up with the most unexpected jokes!
Initially I was upset with SCC. I thought she took things too far with the way she ended her QST persona but I felt such fear for her when TQ started his investigation. It was a big relief when everything cleared up and they got together. 🥰🥰🥰 The pace was good and no boring bits until... the last 3 episodes. That was when they shifted the story to their company's product and shop. And added the arc on LYs pregnancy which felt out of place and threw the momentum off. Overall, I'm satisfied with how it all turned out and enjoyed this drama immensely. TJC once again impressed the audience with his acting.
With all the tonghua and lyf references, i am very thankful this is the happy end she gave XL fans.

I LOVE them too but it felt anti climatic to have their story so near the end when i feel it should be our main couple.

Im here in the later half of episode 30. This is the most fast forwarding ive done in the entire drama. I never liked dramas showing their fictional company products or works and feels like a let down to the pace. And a LY GY arc. Where is this going?

Well said! I am also not very into rom coms and perhaps thats why i dont take the ratings here seriously. They do not reflect what i feel and give me little indication on how good a drama is. I still rate the dramas ive watched to show my support.
