Yep just saw today's episodes and really felt they didn't need to spend so much time on the price war. It really bored me. The storytelling is the major flaw for me. Also didnt appreciate that the final time General Nan appeared, he was already a dead body. It was too sudden yet so much time spent talking about fictional beauty products! I did enjoy the SLxLRQ cp surprisingly.

I think the beating part was at the start when snake thought she disguised as a man to spy on his camp. And she kept insisting she was male so he never trusted her. The unforgivable part was probably when she just regained her female form and he made her swim back to shore. 😂 Fox was very nice to her from the time they met but just couldnt break his engagement while asking XY to wait for him. Both of them deserve the blood spits and 🔪🔪
Yah i get what u mean. She seems to be 2 timing/liking both the snake and fox. 😂 Althought she happily ever after with the fox, i can't tell if she really liked one of them over the other throughout the story.

I agree! Most of these dramas are targetted at female viewers so the ML is usually written almost perfect. The FL on the other hand is usually the "ordinary" girl whom the ML falls blindly for. 😂😂 Their characters and behaviour are written to bring up the ML and don't usually make much sense. More often than not, historical dramas have to incorporate the lower status of females in olden times, hence the imbalance in the power of male and female characters. We always see the emperor with his harem of concubines. Im still waiting for that female emperor with her harem of husbands. 😝😝😝😝😝😝 FYH here has amusingly added a female noblewoman (JXBs mum) who didnt get her status from her husband but inherited it like other males. So it was refreshing.
Haha u no like yz? Or her character inside? I didnt like her one bit before this drama. And i felt her character's image in the front episodes was ugly. But she did really well in the dramatic scenes and moved me. Now i like her a little although not a fan.

There have been more LFY clips on wb since S2 was announced. I saw one on YaoJing and it seemed really nice to have the 2 together.
