i totally agree with you...Chinese BL censorship depicts the feeling of love and romance in such a beautiful way…
The older I get, the more uncomfortable I am with any kind of nudity. I should be used to it by now, I've seen everything, but I still find myself skipping any kissing or sex scenes in mostly western dramas.

Honestly, I didn't even bother reading much of what he wrote. I still have him unblocked, so he can waste as much time on me instead of other users. Some people think the world revolves around them and their 'feelings'. What kind of a person has so much time on their hands to play sitting duck in a community and police them. It's disgusting. Women will like what they like. As an Asian myself, I agree with everything about the intimacy of relationships. Some are physical, some emotional, most of us Asians care about emotions, more than jumping into bed on the first episode like how westerners do. Just look at the rise of Kdramas - it's why they became so popular. Less sex and more developing a relationship.

With the success China is having with censored BL, I doubt the powerhouse producers will let them become uncensored if given the opportunity, they won't want to lose on the big name actors.

Managers behind South Korean actors won't let them work in BL industry due to 'image' issues. South Korean actors are held in high regards, and if people were to get whiff of them being in BL, they would be shunned by many. I agree, if South Korea goes towards censoring BL, they might get real actors working in them. If we lose out on China, hopefully South Korea holds us up.

The subtle unspoken romance is there, and it's so open for everyone to see. I love how Chinese writes and producers found a way to express themselves so beautifully, it brings out the best in dramas.
I've noticed Thai bl dramas have wife and husband plastered from the beginning. It's a huge turn off for me, specially…
Yes, this is what I mean by giving out genders. I am watching because I like "BOYS love," I'm not trying to watch two men in which one is a woman. Once they have the genders assigned, that is how they will remain. The woman will be bottom, and husband will be top. What I like about Chinese BL is that they don't hint at anything, and they could be versatile.
There is something so beautiful about censored BL, it makes you want to fall in love with both boys at once. Unlike Thai bl where they have intercourse, and start giving gender between the two couple, I like how Chinese BL remains versatile. I am so disappointed, and upset at the ban. These dramas are so wonderful, and full of life. These eight episodes were wonderful, and hopefully, the next time I come around - we will have a finished series.
