yikes. it's genuinely shocking to see how extreme people can get. I've only heard about these comments second hand instead of firsthand... Are they from the global or Chinese fanbase out of curiosity. I've heard the latter are quite aggressive (no offense to anyone honestly) but at the end of the day, how people interpret the story will be subjective to their biases. It's upsetting if the way that fans react could adversely affect the actors they're supporting.

I am loving Liu yuning’s soundtrack so much for this drama but almost all the other ones too. So beautiful poetically. I see that there’s a lot of symbolism that’s shared across the OSTs. Any native speakers out there able to shed some light? Of course the moon is the most self explanatory and obvious but some that stood out was the mention of geese, red bean, etc.
Any other ones too would be interesting to hear about

I love how they make a huge point of showing how uncomfortable PY's subordinates look when he keeps asking them to fetch him JC as if even they're like bro let her go. It's unusual in dramas for them to be able to express so much without having the explicit lines to say so.

My guess is that he might use it as a signal to the Master pretending it was initiated by Jiang ci to bait her into revealing herself but we’lol see how it goes 😅

He originally intended to return it to her but changed his mind because he's trying to use the OG hello kitty to lure out her Master so he swapped the fake one in and then broke it so that she couldn't tell it's the fake one if she looked at it later.
Next day it got run over by a wagon and she thought the OG kitty broke then and had no idea it was a fake (not sure if he staged that one or if it was just a lucky coincidence for him).

She’s finally getting the styling she deserves. Her hairstylist in Dreaming back to the qing dynasty really did her dirty and made her look way rounder than she is

Li Qin’s character in War of Faith. She is so beautiful but this is the first time her character really blew me away as i felt that she didn’t have that much to do in her previous roles (especially in Joy of life). Her Shen jin Zhen is probably one of my top favourite characters ever.
Also Liu Mian Tang in Are you the one who dealt with such an unfortunate situation where she was so grossly wronged in stride. I love her quote when she said that her husband wouldn’t give her the moon if she wanted but he’s raise the ladder for her and this speaks a lot to her character.
Jiang Li (the double) too made a splash but I’d put her on a tier down as her main character buff was too strong for me to be convinced…
I adore how all these female characters embody so much a courage and strength. They’re truly inspiring 🤍

this is so aptly put! 2024 has been a really good year for FL in cdrama land, Jiang ci definitely being one of them!
Li Landy really did a great job and she has done a great job in all her other roles. She really hasn't gone wrong and I too want to see more of her screen time here.

Ahaha completely agree. I sped watched all non romance scenes but it was also really educational to learn about the housing crisis
