On An Incurable Case of Love Mar 16, 2025
this show is enjoyable in the sense thats its a little cringe, a little over the top and very cliche. Kind of like certain shows that are so bad, they turn really fun to watch.

Ep 1 was kinda annoying to push thru bcs the fl REALLY came off pathetic & incompetent but im SO glad i pushed through bcs she certainly introspects her career choices as well as her approach to the ml.

The ml also starts off as a cliched mean girl tsundere but he also shows how deeply he cares and trusts her. Even in her moments of weaknesses he believes in her.

So overall, i like that the both of them go through character development WHILE their relationship develops.

Now, it had other lil bits of second ml & fl, jealousy, self-doubt, angst etc which again--maybe incredibly cliched--but i think they made the show more entertaining to watch.

So yes.

Don't go in this expecting very mature themes or characters or plot points. It's a show packed with classic shoujo manga tropes but it does it really well and by the end, you fall in love with everything it provided. The relationship also just blooms so beautifully that you just KNOW tendo & sakura are meant to be together, to be each other's support systems & to get on each other's nerves.

Definitely a 8/10 solely for the heart fluttering emotions this series gives.

this movie is a 100000/10 like i cried and laughed with them and the characters found a family with each other and its just. Ugh. I love this movie so so much.

Utterly disjointed, messily put together plot with inconsistent character dynamics and very shallow conversations.

Contrary to popular belief, the chemistry between the leads was there, it just needed better and more in depth exploration.

Miyata's character was rather likable and i liked how he stood up for himself again & again. Inagawa was suavy minx in his own way and i kinda digged how eloquent yet comvincing he could be. BUT.

There was just so much left unaddressed. So many dynamics not explained enough. There were so many loose ends and none tied enough. The pace was an utter mess. One moment we're dating, the next we're taking a break????

This show deserved better bcs the actors really did try to deliver.

Also, the kiss scenes were so 😭😭

This movie was just something else entirely.... We see so much character depth, profound emotions and rapidly developing dynamics. There are so many nuances, stolen glances, painful tender moments, the constant balance tipping between giving into the desire & holding back for each other's protection. Despite all that, I think it has a good ending. Tragic as their youthful days were, both the main characters age up gracefully to learn and understand themselves & eventually accepting the depth of their emotions are each other. And at the end, when they meet again, they discuss it with each other and find closure of the past days. There's still that boyish color to their interaction, still that tenderness, still lingering at each other's "Good nights" and yearning to spend more time with each other so I do believe they're still in love. But if they decide not to pursue it then again, it's also fine. They got the closure they required, to relieve some if not all of pain of their past.

It was a great watch.

Dang, that's disappointing to hear. I was so looking forward to watching this, I mean the cast is awesome
Yeah. You can go ahead and watch it but only if you want to witness the acting. The plot is not... worth the time.

Incredibly messy, all over the place, and not enough world building. While the chemistry between the characters, ESPECIALLY bae suzy and park bogum, gave us something to latch onto, the whole premise of the show seemed so out of tune with its foundation. There was just no flow of narration and it just seemed like a compilation of random scenes strewn together. Because they didn't spend enough time on world building, it just left the viewer confused and lost. I didn't expect them to word it out for us but we needed MORE details regarding all that was happening & how it came about. The concept was definitely intriguing but the execution lacked so immensely that it actively hindered the viewing experience. Kudos to Suzy and Bogum, i mainly watched this for them and their top tier chemistry on screen.

Saw the hype and decided to watch this and the first 2 eps were truly promising but then....... Everything took a dip for the worst, the characters lost their depth, the subplots were shoved under the bed, shallow romance & quirky humor became the sole focus of the plot. It was disappointing. I enjoyed the character dynamics until everything became increasingly repetitive which prevented me from enjoying it as a whole. Unfortunately this is not for me so i dropped it.

Am i the only one who didn't like how this drama started off???? I dived into this expecting a more sober approach bcs its theme is something that deals with immense grief, loss, frustration & pain. But then. There was corny humor, unnecessary side characters, filler scenes, quirky and relatable interactions, emotionally constipated mc who kept making unjustifiably questionable decisions without caring about the fact that //she// literally had alot of ppl grieving her. Idk. I would think if i get the chance to be alive again, i would go hug my family a little tighter. All explanations, all apprehensions can wait when i've seen them mourn me without any closure, without a chance to meet me. Her hiding & avoiding them kinda pissed me off.Perhaps its a me thing but all of that added and i just. Could not go past ep 3. I expected it to be a little more serious when tackling such a theme & there was so much potential to be explored but it just. Fell extremely flat for me.

On The Good Bad Mother Jul 1, 2023
Lmfao trust the mdl comments to be the most misguiding thing ever. this drama was a 10/10. the title nor the plot itself ever claimed to be selling the characters' bad traits as something "good". She was a bad mother just how Kangho had to become a bad son. Both of them had their reasons and yes, despite them, you can't excuse the unintentional abuse & hurt that came with it and nor do the characters work past it. They KEEP acknowledging the fact that Youngsoon WASN'T an ideal mom, SHE keeps acknowledging until the end that if given a chance, she'd try to be a far better mom to Kangho.

Now, I do admit the ending trial was rushed and had alot of plotholes but I'm willing to let it slide because this show gave us a lot more to appreciate and ponder upon. So like. Criticism is alright and all but to throw this whole masterpiece of a show down the drain for a few mistakes is not and will never be justified. I hope more people watch this and critically think what this drama gave us.

I actually really liked this drama. The mysteries kept branching out & our characters kept moving in a maze so it was fun to watch. Some of the plot twists had my jaw on the floor & i didnt rlly feel it get draggy anywhere. The pace was good but some things were a bit vague. I feel like characters just??? Became close to each other for no reason. There could've been more depth to them. Gi Osung was an intriguing character but i feel like his schemes weren't explained eloquently. Also that ending could've had more potential. It just seemed a bit underwhelming. But anyways. It's a decent thriller so i dont mind a few questions unanswered

I want to binge watch Adamas but some comments made me hesitate to start. My question : is this drama that BAD?…
It's really not as bad as these comments make it out to be. I would say pls try to watch it and form your own opinion. It might just be up your alley, plus the plot twists are not something to miss out on AND the twins have a really beautiful relationship

Ji Sung wouldn't do the action (bc he has a spinal condition that leads to chronic pain, he can't do stunt work),…
Think you haven't watched adamas bcs jisung executed intense action scenes full of fighting, combating, shooting, you name it. Esp during the last 12-16 eps. So this claim is officially debunked that he cant do action scenes. Hope it cleared up some misunderstandings :)
