I do not get why people expect realistic situations or realism in every show they watch. I do agree that realism sometimes can be great but let's not forget that majority of entertainment media as a whole is not meant to be realistic (it can be but it's not obligated to do so) at the end of the day movies and shows like this are a form of escapism for some or maybe majority of people also. The show is unrealistic because it's meant to be unrealistic and over the top. Just sit back and enjoy a fun ride.
Also I think MDL has some sort of a homophobic vendetta. Amazing BL shows, can never reach 8.6 above mark even though the data graph majority of users rated it above 9. After this vast drop of ratings in KinnPorsche I know now to never trust MDL's ratings esp. towards LGBTQ+ shows. I also read below that MDL had a rule before that BL is not allowed in the article section which is kind of unfair. They also really do not promote BL in the website. MDL get yo shit together.
Both Woo Do Hwan & Seo Yea Ji gave it their all in this role both were just fantastic from start to finish. Dong Chul, is such a brave character filled with passion and determination to do what was right with no set backs and Im Sang Mi is such a strong headed woman, she really endured psychological torture and she knew what she had to do. if I were Sang Mi, I would not last a day in that hellhole so props to her for being so mentally and physically strong.
These cute BL shows makes me sad because I will never have that cute relationship in real life LMAO. When will I have my own Da Un? Imma cry in the corner.
Wow Korean BLs are just top notch now with a great run from Semantic Error and now comes a beautiful simplistic Blueming. I hope they keep this up, maybe one day South Korea is now the home of quality BLs.
This drama had so much potential with it's story and script overall. Let's start with the positives, the acting of the cast was absolutely phenomenal especially Jung Hae In whom made every scene so emotional, gripping and serious. The magic of eyes in acting is so evident in here and it's effective because of Jung Hae In. Phenomenal acting from Yoon Se Ah as the strict and mysterious headmistress, Pi Seunghee and Kim Hye Yoon as the broken and annoying Kye Boon Ok both were just phenomenal but what can you expect? both actresses also did fantastic in Sky Castle. Let us start with the story, it begins with a bang with a lot of mystery, emotions and beautiful cinematography but it began to falter in the second half thankfully Kang Cheong Ya was introduced and made the story interesting again. The political and spy parts of the drama was confusing which can negatively affect the viewer's attention. If you can't make your viewers understand the main aspect of the drama which is the Political Warfare and Betrayals then you have failed. The romance between the two leads was cute but nothing special but the chemistry was there. The ending was so messy, they jump packed everything into two episodes, Man Dong's character being revealed to be a spy was poorly conveyed and the deaths of the character was also poorly executed except for Soo Ho's death scene which is probably the saddest yet best scene in the drama. The 207 girls, Kang Cheong Ya and Soo Ho's sisters disappeared without a proper conclusion on what happened to them. They also under utilized Young Ro's character, I felt like she was just a background character the whole time.
The drama had ups and downs with a poorly written second half, but it had a promising script, a talented cast and beautiful cinematography to make up for it's flaws.

I really want to watch this but I am still 17 turning 18 this May. Imma wait till I turn 18 then, but the spoilers and the long wait will kill me lmao.
This series so far is pretty good. This is an episodic drama just like Taxi Driver but deals more with the touchy subject of Suicide mixed with supernatural elements from Hotel Del Luna, The Uncanny Counter and Mystic Pop Up Bar. The first two episodes, show that School Bullying accusations should not be taken lightly a lot of people excuse the behaviors of high school bullies because of their age but what about the victim? Just because it happened in High School doesn't mean it will not inflict trauma to the victim for the rest of their life. Goo Ryun, Joon Woong, and Ryung Goo are a great trio so far. Goo Ryun is more stern and realistic in how she helps the victims, Joon Woong is more comforting while Ryung Goo is probably going to be the mix between the two. LEE SOOHYUK DAMN HE COMMANDS EVERY SCREENTIME HE GETS, I can't erase the fact that he looks like Seungho from a popular BL manhwa "Painter Of The Night" I am excited to see more of his character.
Korean BLs are now stepping up their game (Amazing Korean BLs like TMS, SE, WYEL and Blueming are great examples showing that SK is now opening the doors for great BL content)
completed 9.1 but final score 8.3 how? can somebody explain
I think MDL just hates BL/LGBTQ+ shows in general lmao. Great BL shows like I Told Sunset About You, Semantic Error & Life Senjou No Bokura have 8.3 below ratings which for me personally should be higher especially these three BLs have great plotlines. Thankfully, Not Me & Bad Buddy reached the 8.5 range. LGBTQ+ shows in general struggle to get pass 8.7 above.
This show succeeds in making the viewers feel so much connection to every character. When it was ending, I felt so sad yet I felt also fulfilled seeing the character grow especially Deok Sun, Jung Hwan, Bo Ra and Dong Ryong. A nostalgic OST and setting mixed with great acting, well written characters, wonderful messages of youth and life, amazing stories of the parents and a rewatch value that is high. Probably one of the best Korean Dramas of all time.
I really wanted to finish this but after knowing Kang Jun Hee is gay and has unrequited feelings for Yoon Jae I stopped, I don't want to relive the days where I got rejected by my straight friend that I really liked but I will pick this up later on in the future.
no one want them to have 'sexy makeout sessions' lolkiss was just super awkward and it looked like their lips…
I do agree that Bright and Win's on screen chemistry in 2gether was non existent maybe because of the script because they have really great off screen chemistry. With a better script maybe, they could pull off a charismatic duo.
