Do Guk and Yoo Ra were set up to meet/have a date (he doesn't like her but he got roped into it), so that's what he meant because yes he had rejected being set up with Yoo Ra before.

You hate all of the characters, including the leads? Ep 1 is really an intro/set up, so I'd say watch episode 2 and if you still don't like it then feel free to drop it : )

If the backlash is great enough they may change that particular pairing, like they did in another daily drama I watched. The relationship was supposed to be an age gap, between an older man and his law intern/student, but k-netizens watching were completely against it so they paired him up with another character....

Lol daily dramas are not a good pick for instant karma then : )
They are soooo sloooww. The only one I can think of that did a good job of having the FL get revenge pretty quickly was The Gold Mask (?). They had her getting payback a little after episode 20.

Hmmm, but if he was on Yi Joo's side I don't think he would have helped frame and kill her as we saw in episode 1....It will certainly make things more interesting though if he had his own agenda against Lee Jung Hye.

As frustrating as these daily dramas are, I find it's easier to take it day by day rather than binging it all at once. And if you want something similar, try Second Husband : )

I think he's on his own side, and by that I mean he's going to help whoever can benefit him the most. So he's a complete curve-ball, and I love it! As to the painting, I honestly can't begin to speculate what he wants it for. Yi Joo made it seem like he looked at it with longing/emotion so the only thing I could guess is that it holds great personal value to him. But you're absolutely right, there are so many possibilities for this character : )

Given that Se Ran's "revenge" probably won't start coming to light until episode 30 and will probably last for about the next 15 or so until Da Jung is ready to come back for revenge, I seriously need her and Yo Han to stop bickering and start becoming friends. Preferably with her becoming close to his daughter (who we all predict is probably Da Jung's).That way when she suddenly needs a rich backer who's going to stand by her with complete loyalty it will actually make sense that he chooses to be that for her. That and I'm just sick of them always bickering lol, it's not cute.
