Youku has many good dramas, but when it comes to costume ones, they take too long for whatever reason....

There are 2 reasons:
1. Tencent is HUGE compared to Youku, and they also released a LOT of materials.
2. Lai Zhan is a female centered drama and Ju Jingyi has the first billing. Tbh, Chinese fans are petty so at this point I think they prefer Lai Zhan than VOS because Ju Jingyi is sharing the billing with the rest... also lot of fanwars.
